Dittman Eyecare - Grove City

My appointment with the Grove City office was great experience as usual. Mel greeted meet with a warm conversation and answering all my question with billing. That lasted till Ashleigh took me back for tests. Ashleigh very respectful and polite putting me through the test. Answering any questions I had. Once Ashleigh realized I would get a better reading once my eyes were dilated opted to retake one of my tests. I have had trouble with certain test so was elated to retake it.
DR. Dittman. ;} What can I say. Throughly enjoy his conversations, and is on top of his game! My eyes could not be in better hands! I am thankful for that! Out to the front of the office to pick glasses, luckily I was looking them over before I went for test. Now my eyes are dilated trying to pick. Shana was so patience! I had mention I wanted to change my style to a little more edgy. Shana was so particular on how they laid on my face.
What I thought I had pick wasn't working. Shana was on her knees looking in drawers for that perfect pair for me. She did it! Thank you all for caring. I'm looking forward to picking up my new glasses.

I had a fantastic appointment recently as a new patient. Emily at the front was welcoming and helpful, Shana has been great with billing questions and discussing glasses. The tech Ashleigh was wonderful- explaining each test and the reasons for it. Dr. Dittman was extremely thorough and informative. Really appreciated all the time and information given. Would highly recommend this team!

My family has been seeing Dr. Dittman at the Grove City office since we moved here in 2020, and I've been seeing eye doctors for at least the last 30 years. His staff is great, including his technician, Ashley, receptionist Emily and the rest of the staff.

We have two family members with 'normal' healthy eyes, and two of us with more 'issues'. Dr. Dittman has been great in explaining everything and focusing on preventative care, rather than just giving us a prescription and sending us on our way.

He and his staff are great with kids, including high-needs kids that can find the eye exams more challenging.

Even when our insurance changed, I refused to move to another practice.

I've been to a lot of eye doctors over the years of having bad eyes, and Dittman has been the absolute best. He provides wholistic eye care, which is rare and extremely valuable.

Dr. Dittman is a kind, respectful and direct communicator (which I really appreciate). He has always answered any questions we have, even the kid's questions, with thorough understandable explanations, without making us feel silly or giving us a bunch of medical jargon.

He also understands the impact lifestyle and nutrition has on the health of our eyes and offers suggestions not only for contacts/eye glasses, but also preventative care such as diet and supplements. This is something I really appreciate. He's also not afraid to tell you if something you're doing isn't helpful.

If you want honest, evidence-based information, suggestions and care, Dr. Dittman is your guy. If you want a quick, cheap eye exam, prescription and pat on the back, this may not be the place for you.

The people are very nice and helpful and they know what they are doing. Lexi was wonderful and very nice

I recommend Dr. Dittman to all of my friends and Family. The staff is easy going and knowledgeable, Lexi the technician was a sweetheart and explained what each machine was for. Emily the receptionist got me checked in quickly and assisted with checking me out. Thank you Dr. Dittman for taking the time to answer my questions! Keep up the good work!

I visited Dittman Eye Care in October as a new patient. All of the workers at this place were very nice. However, here it is December and I still have not received the pair of glasses I ordered and paid over $400 for. They were said to be finished in November, however, the lab they use did not do the lenses right and messed up the clip so they had to be sent back. I was hoping to make this my permanent place for eye care, but think I will go elsewhere next year.

Receptionist Emily was fantastic with my shy and socially anxious 8 year old. Tech Lexi was also equally great.

2 major things I'll say about this place. First my daughter had an appointment booked in July, when we showed up they told us they had no appointment scheduled for her. We thought that was weird but figured mistakes happen. While we were at our rebooked appointment today a girl came in and the same thing happed to her except this was the SECOND time for her!

Secondly as mentioned above I have an anxious and shy child who is very VERY anxious about medical appointments. We are working on coping strategies for her but she is 8 and hasn't quite mastered those skills yet.

Doctor was trying to connect with her by asking what her favorite food is. I mentioned pizza because my kid was still too shy to answer and instead of using this as a connection moment with her he began lecturing us about how an unhealthy diet can give us bad eyes.

He then started talking very quickly about my eyes and how bad they are and my daughter misunderstood and thought he was talking about her. This lead to crying and fear etc. It just wasn't a good appointment.

I had an appointment a few oaths ago and wasn't impressed with how much contacts were focusing. I kept asking for adjustments but he spent the entire time telling me how he wasn't going to adjust them and I'd just get used to it. Yes. I'll get used to seeing blurry at night while I'm driving with astigmatism.great advice

Wonderful practice! The staff is very friendly and cares about the patients! Ashleigh was so helpful at my appointment and even squeezed me in for additional testing that I needed instead of coming back for another appointment. Very happy with Dr. Dittman and the entire practice

My son and I had our eye exam at the Grove city office with Dr. Dittman. I always have a wonderful experience here. The office ladies are so nice and easy to talk to. Today I had Lexi who was so nice as always. Today was my sons 1st time and they really put him at ease!

Everyone is so nice. They are all very friendly. They make you feel welcome and you are not just a number. Ashleigh the tech was awesome. She explained every test they did and what the test was for.

Friendly and efficient service. Emily and Lexi were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dr. D was informative and explained things well.

Long time lense wearer first time visit to Dittman Eyecar in Grove City. After years of being dissatisfied with my vision I took a risk and visited a new eye doctor. It was well worth it. I wasn't pressured into costly purchase, instead educated on products. Then discussed my regular routine and the staff and doctor made recommendations. All of my questions were answered and I felt like I had a quality exam. Based on the information and recommendations I made an educated decision. Even with adjusting to a different style of contact lense I can see clearly now (pun intended). I highly recommend Dr. Dittman, Ashleigha, Emily, Sabrina, Shana, and Jen (hopefully I got the spellings correct). Thank you all for leading me into clear vision.

DON'T PUT UP WITH READERS!
Wish I would have done this years ago. Dr. Dittman and the staff got me progressive glasses with auto shade and I couldn't be happier. So easy to adjust and no more readers hanging around my neck.

Would not recommend. Waited over a month for a trial contact as I was having difficulty. The office did not respond to a message I left or call to let me know it was there. Also, the Grove City office does not have glasses for wider heads. “You’ll have to go to Butler for that” Pointless to go to a hometown office.

Shana and the whole team are kind, fun, and professional and I love having Dittman Eyecare care for my eye health! Thank you for going above and beyond esp this week while waiting for my appointment:)

I recently took my 3 kids (11,9,4) to see Dr. Dittman and was greeted by Sabrina and Rahnada who were very patient with all 3 of them. The tests were not rushed and Dr. Dittman listened to every question I had and took his time explaining every detail.

I had a great experience at the Grove City office last week. It was my first time at Dittman’s & wont be my last. The technician (Sabrina), optician (Sam), & Dr. Dittman himself, were all very professional, positive, & helpful during the check-in, filling out the paperwork, the eye exam, (respectively) & the ordering of my new glasses.

Over four weeks and still waiting for my prescription glasses! Not what I was told when they took my money! Have to keep calling and leaving messages because they won’t answer! Not nice! Take peoples money but not supply what was paid for! Isn’t that stealing; you got my money (over $400) and I get nothing!

Doctor was great, staff was so unorganized and prices were outrageous.and I have great insurance. Never will I go back. They wanted me to come pack for another fitting for a contact a wore into the office and has have been wearing for 5 years. Just be very aware and after my review they called and wanted to cancel my contact order that I paid for. Ridiculous incompentence and hope it gets better for other patients that go there.
