I would like to than DKR Cane Seat Replacements for the excellent job that was done with two chairs of mine. The first was an old Captains Chair my parents bought in England during the 1960s. Work was needed to replace the deteriorating rush seat as well as repairing a broken stretcher between two legs of the chair. A new rush seat was added to a smaller smaller rocking chair. The high quality of work is evident on both chairs. Thank you, thank you thank you for bringing these two chairs back to life.
My wife and I highly recommend DKR for any type of chair repair. DKR demonstrated the highest quality of work.

My puppy chewed our reed bench in 3 places. Though not chewed completely through, it was frayed enough as to make my wife very dissatisfied, wanting to replace the entire 6' bench which, as it turns out, was no longer on the market. I searched for cane/reed repairers and saw Darlene's (DKR) ad. I arranged to drop it off and she said no guarantees as my wife had attempted to repair the fraying with her hot glue gun. Two weeks later, Darlence called to arrange pick-up. The bench was much improved and I have a happy wife and a live dog on probation. Her work was creative and excellent for a fair price.

We recently had our 60 year old butlers chair caned by Darlene Roehm. We were absolutely pleased by her artistic work. My husband says he can put his shoes on now. Darlene is very professional to say the least and when she promises you the chair will be finished in a week or two, she is punctual. I had an antique chair that was in need of repair and I found DKR Cane Seat replacement on Google, This was my Father's chair as a child and I remember my Brother using it when he was little and my Son used it as a small child as well. Now I needed to find someone to repair this chair so my Granddaughter could use it. Darlene did a fantastic job replacing the rush seat on this near 100 year old chair.
