I do have to preface this by saying that my experience was from 10 years ago. I was looking for a doctor with his/her own practice because I wanted to know who would be delivering my baby. She was in network for my insurance at the time and seemed very experienced. Every time I went to see her she made me feel like a child and talked down to me many times although I was married and almost 30. As my pregnancy progressed, I noticed the anxiety building up while waiting to see her to the point that my blood pressure would be high when it was taken. The staff were not very friendly either. I ended up being so uncomfortable that I switched to a clinic at 36 weeks pregnant and had a wonderful unassisted labor and delivery with a doctor I never met before. When I switched, I had to pay a significant amount of money for the office to send my medical records to the new office because they couldn't send anything electronically which even for that time was antiquated. To this day I cannot help but feel such anger for how she made me feel during what should have been a wonderful time in our lives. I regret wholeheartedly not leaving the practice sooner. Please do your research. I don't know if she had a problem with the color of my skin, the fact that I was overweight, or both.

Twice, I waited over 1 hr while in a room. Staff was rude and never gave me any updates. Maybe if my last name ended in ski, I would’ve been treated differently.

Started seeing Dr. Sokolowski while I was pregnant and she was provided excellent patient center care. Very thorough and personable. Very happy to be at this practice!
