Dollar General reviews
11I'm only giving it three stars because of the people that work there are super nice and personable. They seem understaffed though and it's pretty dirty in there.
Best store for me to shop in during the week. Can get staple foods here as well as cleaning supplies and laundry supplies. Anything we may need in a pinch! School supplies, greeting cards, even medicine!
Good place to pick something up quick at a good price. Many times it seems cluttered - not sure if it is from customers or employees not putting things back. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Have heard from others food is sometimes expired so check before purchasing.
A good store to shop if you are looking for cheaper prices and they also accept digital coupons.
Always a great place to shop they have a bit of everything.a one stop shop.bit they need more cashier's during the busy times they usually only have one and the line takes forever to go down
The international coffee creamer cups (vanilla flavored) that I went there to buy were all expired. So no creamer tonight, but on the up side the workers were all friendly.
Expired food items consistently.
Rats- and yes I'm talking bout the fuzzy things with long tails. Not mice-RATS!
ENOUGH SAID!
This dollar general location is very very racist from corporate on down. They do not hire African Americans without a single infraction on their background and they clearly need help. They'd rather hire dope fiends and the mentally challenged (for a tax break). Its sad they post in need of workers and managers and every time we've visited the lines are wrapped around the store with one register open. They never hire black people at all in johnstown no matter how clean and clear you are of drugs and criminal backgrounds. Its sad and so 1950's. I didn't move here to be discriminated against! Thinking of contacting a lawyer.
Could be cleaner, and would be nice if they actually carried what there sales papers advertised
I've been to 2 different stores, in Johnstown, in the past week. The store layouts were each a little bit different, but everything was still easy to find. The employees were courteous, and friendly, at both stores as well.
