Dollar General, Harrisburg PA

This store is very convenient it has most things you could need at a very cheap price however it is very disorganized and some of the specific things that you could be looking for may not always be in stock and restock times are uncertain.

There was only 1 cashier handling a line at least 8 deep. Their help was on break and wouldn't step out to assist.

Cashier was great! Only reason the extra star. Shelves were empty and I felt I needed a shower when I left. Eww

They didn't have what I went there for, but I bought some other items I needed. The place could use some TLC. Good prices. Friendly staff!

I love the DG! I've recently joined the "Penny Shoppers". 9 times out of 10 the store has what I need. The prices are good and the staff is usually friendly. I had a issue a few months back with a western union concern and the manager that was on duty went above and beyond to help me and correct the situation, which was slightly frustrating. The DG is alright in my book.

This store is always dirty and has a funny smell. The guy the works in there isn't friendly at all to the customers.

I'm so glad this is here. Obviously the quality of the products is a bit lower, but it's quick if you know what you're looking for, and the staff here are welcoming to every customer.

In some cases you save because the package is smaller than at the regular grocery store, but, hey sometimes you just need a bottle of laundry detergent to get you through til payday. It's my go to convenience store. I like their package of breaded shrimp. Just enough for me and mom a lunch with salad. And their hamburger is tasty and handy.

One of the best DGs I've been to. Not as big as others but usually have everything I need and the workers are fantastic- helpful and pleasant.

The Dollar General was very clean and very organized. The cashier was very, very nice. I like looking at the Halloween decorations. I like going to Dollar General!

I often visit DG on a whim or because if proximity and rarely leave empty handed, regardless if I had a list or not.

Horrible! I went for soda, they had it marked 3for $8.00. But even after going back to look the clerk still acted like she couldn't see what was clearly marked. Good thing my money spends everywhere.

Shopping carts full if boxes everywhere make it a little difficult to navigate especially when they're in front of the entrance.

I will give this better reviews when they get 2 cashier's regularly. This store is to busy for only one person.

It's a good store for what you need, but Sabrina the cashier is really ignorant to customers and will ring you up while talking in her cell phone.

The best thing about this average to run down Dollar General was the sales associates. There was one nice lady there who was an excellent talker. I usually get annoyed with excessive talking when all I'm trying to do was get in and get out.but not only was she kind, funny and knowledgeable.she had the rare trait of being able to work as fast as she talked. If every sales associate in this country could talk AND work as efficiently and friendly as she did I would welcome this kind of atmosphere in all stores. I can't wait to try the onion advise on my feet.unfortunately my feet aren't hurting yet. But you were right on about the castor oil. I remember that from my childhood as if it were yesterday. Thanks for a pleasant experience. I just wish your store was more modern.

The lady that works there is a great employee. She is always happy. Don't ever let her go. Yesterday was her birthday. Happy birthday from the big brother
