Dollar General, Chester PA

Went looking for a kiddie pool that was on their flier. Store was clean but not well stocked. There were boxes of products stacked in the aisles waiting to be placed on the shelves. There were two employees at the time so they may need to hire people to get the location a bit more tidy. Cashier was super friendly.

The store was cramped and the idle setup was not clear. I searched 20 minutes for something as simple as plastic latex gloves and never found them.

A Dollar Tree is a Dollar Tree but in this particular location it's the staff that makes it shine.
So pleasant and helpful even if it's close to closing time.
Absolutely a pleasure to shop there.

Well it has some very cute and inexpensive items for your family&home, that's why i enjoy shopping there at the one location in (Chester, Pa) on edgmont. Thx Ms. Kaaa

Everybody has their favorite dollar store but this is my favorite Dollar Store every time I go they have everything I want especially that all this dedicated where everything is just $1 so many useful back 4 body wash joke laundry detergent personal hygiene situations a place to go gather your thoughts and get what you want when you need it for reasonable price

They don’t answer the phone and when they do they vm just hang up on you I called for over 45mins and no answer.

Only because their floor is never Cleared everything is all over the place it every man and woman for the self in that store I don't like it because my family member is in a wheelchair and Lord only knows a they get hurt just by trying to go in the store Is to clattered and they need to do something about that

If I can give it no stars I would they close too early when it say 10 pm I went there because I ran out of paper plate's for my children to eat I got there at 8: 20pm and they was closed I only live 5min from the store I called the store no answer

Good location. Store is a little cluttered but overall a good Dollar Store to shop at. Many people use this location during the day so best to arrive there a little earlier in the day. Customer service was ok as well. HUGE parking lot, so plenty of places to park. Pretty much your typical dollar store overall.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited dollar general. Lots of items fair pricing. Needed more staff on hand.

If there was a no star the I would have given this store one. Be careful shopping here people there seem to always have an attitude and nasty at the customers. Couple of times I've been there have not been very good experiences. The cashiers and managers are rather unpleadant. The last time I was there they said I had to check in my bag when I asked for where the water bottle was located. I wasn't comfortable leaving my bag at the register. The person that talked to me then called the manager who then started yelling across the aisle and was getting so nasty. I asked if they had a sign that says customers bags will be checked in at the register. She said no and they were not going to put up a sign. She started to call the police. I had to just leave, though I really wanted to buy a bottle of water because I was so thirsty.

The employees are polite and respectful. The store is clean and bright. I found what I was looking for quick and easy. I will be going back there again.

As usual, good prices, relatively nice staff, store is clean and for the most part (HUGE EXCEPTION is the clearance area and clearance prices. BEWARE, items with clearance stickers, are often NOT on clearance, or IF they ARE clearance, MANY TIMES the clearance price is LITERALLY a few pennies cheaper than regular price. Many times when asking for a clearance price on an item a store clerk will give you a VERY different price then what you will get charged at the register, and unless you LITERALLY bring the clerk WITH you to get rang up, then they will NOT honor what the worker or the signs have told you!) As I was saying, for the MOST part, ESPECIALLY for the area it's located, a nice store to shop in!
