Dollar General reviews
26This was the second dollar general store I visit to purchase laundry detergent, and the entire laundry detergent section was empty. I don’t know if they are doing inventory properly or if it’s a case of shoplifting. Either or it’s very frustrating to the consumer.
This stor is always out of everything and disorganized. But they do maintain a wide selection of chips to buy.
They need to hire more employees cause it's always a long line when I shop there and usual one cashier is present.
It's a good store if you trying to save some money depends on what you buy and it has good customer service
Current manager as I visited the last 3 days in the morning is very pleasant. Also this morning very helpful. Will edit after I confirm her name.
They usually have what I need; however, this store is unorganized and both the staff and customers are GHETTO! Staff rung up my item while on his cellphone and was in a deep conversation. The customers just throw items anywhere on the shelves and constantly steal.
Good practical buys for the buck when it comes to personal item buys, kitchen utensils, and home decorum knick knacks.
Hard to found things and move around cause the aisles is usually blocked with stock carts and crates and hard to found someone to help you on the floor lines can be long
Not everyone coming in to the store is there to steal. I am a case manager who assists clients with daily activities. The store needs to focus on better customer service.
Drug addicts every where. Understaffed, as and wasn't to happy to be stereotypes as a shoplifter. Need a guard between ALL Hours!
Prices could be better, compared to other dollar stores and sometimes it's very cluttered but they are usually stocked well and offers a good selection of items
Staff is very rude. Always talking about personal issues at Register. Not professional. Never clean. Always have aisles are always blocked with merchandise carts. Very rare to go in and be able to find what you need with it Being clutter free.
I like Dollar General but every single one I visit has one line open and seventy people in line. Also, there are too many items on the floor not shelved making the store look unorganized and dirty.
Good store just needs more staff sometimes the line can be long and some isles may be unorganized
My experience was horrible the place is never in order. It final doesn't sink. And the cashier by the name of Jazmine is very rude and the Manager does nothing but waste your time. I let them know that, I need a reciept.
The customer service is ok depending on who works however this dollar store has a huge assortment of various items from cleaning products to food.
Like the fact that the store is a short walking distance from where I live, the employees are ALWAYS polite and pleasant, the store is always tidy and neat in appearance.
You still have stock all in the aisles that's a fire hazard you can't get down the aisle with the cart because you got stuff piled up hired somebody at night to come in there and stop that place. And I'm a committeeman in the 14th Ward and I'm going to keep on on City Council and license and inspection until something is done enough is enough.
Items are great. The environment can be challenging, Which the cashier's have no control over. They need a bigger store and smarter management. People complain about the lines and boxes in the narrow aisles but forget they're in a low income area at a dollar store!
Contact corporate, stop complaining or be civil and have a bit of patients for your deal.
