Dollar General reviews
15I walk down to it for basic things and gets the job done and have never really had a bad experience with the staff there
It was 8: 30 pm I pulled in I get out start walking to the door and a lady runs to the door and locks it I start to walk towards the door to ask if they just closed she pulled out her phone like she was calling someone I ask did you just close she says yes I say ok and walk away she says what do you need i said I need change she say change for what I said a twenty she says no I can't do that closes locks the door and stands there on the phone. It was just weird and uncomfortable and just strange.
Not a day goes by where I don't have to maneuver around pallets of merchandise and other (needs to be stocked) items they leave in the walkways. Most others are a mess too but this one is horrible. For two weeks straight I saw the same exact pallets in my way while walking through aisles: I don't think they put anything away anymore. Most, if not all other Dollar Generals, have African American hair products and this store does not. This place used to be friendly not sure if it's just new people or the same agents getting tired of their jobs but they have become very rude and unprofessional especially with the choice music they play on their phones speaker while working. Now it's to the point I almost feel like I have to bag my own stuff depending on who's working. I'd rather drive to the one in White Oak, it's cleaner and the agents are more friendlier.
Store is an absolute mess, I can see someone trying to sue the store from getting hurt.
I'm sure they don't follow policy.
Love my local DG! Not very clean or fancy but the employees are nice, good selection, and the price is right
The store was extremely messy annrd had to go find someone to wait on me and other people standing in line because there wasn't a bell or anything to let the employees know that someone was at the register to check out
One of my favorite places to grab some personal items and hey stop over at the decorating home goods aisle.always find something I like.
Cant walk in for first hour of the day unless you're 54 and older. They need to change this or im going to stop shopping here.
They need to clean up the store. It's always a mess. They also need to put some wd40 on the shopping cart wheels. I've been in other DG's and this has got to be the worst.
Slow check out. Surfaces are not cleaned between customers. Employees do not wear masks properly.
Can't answer the phone ever, I've called at least a dozen times, covid practices aren't being well followed, the entire store is a constant mess, there's no information about what policies they're following anywhere.
The store is an absolute mess. It looks like a tornado went through and trashed the place. They are very very shorthanded and in dire need of devent management. I believe the manager checked us out and was on Bluetooth phone call the entire time.
Clean place pleasant employees good prices short on some stuff because of covid plenty of parking didn't take long to shop
Has so many things in stocks during this covid-19. Sometimes they are out of my husband's creamer, but when they have it we buy them all (well up to 6)
The store shelves wasn't stocked, the store was dirty and it was alot of boxes in the aisles so walking space was limited.
