Dollar General, Philadelphia PA

This store is filthy and bathroom never is open to the public. The loading dock at the back is a trash Heep. The new manager is not friendly. BRING BACK THERESA!

I went into the store today, employees not wearing mask one employee looked sick and she was coughing all over the place. Just terrible how unsafe it was to go into the store. I left immediately!

Store has been stocked well since covid started. Able to get things here that everywhere else is out of.

I've been going to this Dollar General for years. Other than it being cluttered which I am now used to, you just can't beat their prices on named brand items. A purchase with a manufacturer's coupon makes it so worth the trip. I don't understand the reviews stating they won't return because it isn't a dollar store? No, it isn't a dollar store? It's still a great store. You couldn't possibly expect Tide to cost a dollar, although it is way cheaper than supermarkets. Everything is. Great selection also.

I went to Dollar General today to see if they had the bread and peanut butter I was looking for and they did and everything was chill, it wasn't that busy and the Cashier was really cool, he engaged with me like a human being not just another customer, I wish I knew his name, but today was a good visit.

I was followed around the store as if I were stealing when I was only looking for a hose which I found and paid for.

Not bad other than ac broken in the store, very warm and don't recommend if you have trouble breathing through your mask.

Store was neat and easy to find my needed items. The girl at register was great, pleasant, quick and very interested in meeting my needs. She was also humerous.

The manager and the associates are so nice they help you find everything very nice place to shop

Very messy, unorganized, and cluttered.we could barely get down the aisles due to the large amounts of stock in each aisle. I really like dollar General usually. I stop in the other location near my kids school almost every other day to shop but this one could definitely use some help on organization and professionalism.

Unlike many stores like it, everything here isn't a dollar. But you can find things here cheaper than you would in other places. The staff can be hit or miss at times with their attitudes.

Decent prices for certain items you may need. I love it when I'm able to get some good purchases on days there but with everyday items you can always find some good deals.

Good store for a dollar store. The pricing is no where near dollar store prices. It's fair inexpensive but not dollar store prices.

The dollar general at Chelten and Musgrave is terribly understocked and understaffed. I blame corporate headquarters.

A great place to get just about anything at great prices. Prices over a dollar, but cheaper than "regular" stores. Always friendly staff that are always there to assist you.

Butch the manager at the Frankford and Linden store location. Is a very friendly and a very helpful person. I will definitely be returning to that Dollar General store location. I normally would go to the Welsh road location. Welsh road location is dirty never anything on the shelves. And the workers are very rude and nasty

I bought what I went in for but most items are way above $1. Now I understand Dollar General. It means items are sometimes but not always $1. I won't shop there again.

My only issue is they more often than not only have one register open. Even when theres 40 people in line

They always have what I need the people who work there are extremely nice and helpful and it's very clean
