Dollar Tree, Allentown PA

I enjoy shopping at this Dollar Tree in Allentown because it was very clean and always is when I come here. The owner and the employees are always very pleasant and they have a wide variety of items and a big selection.

Broadway location near goodwill has changed so much since I started shopping here. I believe it's under new management and the employees have no respect for the man. Although managment has been poor the employees do not seem to care has they once did. I dont know if its because of new management, but I KNOW the store would not be in the same condition if the previous lady still managed the store. What a change.

All the Christmas supplies you need have arrived! Lots of great craft supplies for kids and adults too.

I love this store! I travel 20 minutes to shop at this location. The manager at this location is so hard working, loves her store and takes her role as manger seriously - it all shows in how well kept her store is regularly. She is attentive!
My first thought when visited this location for the first time was, " wow! I hope this store remains clean and organized. Whomever manages this store should be sent to all other locations to show them how it should be done. " And she sure has been seen around. If you don't see her you see her work- for sure. Thank you to this hard working manager who cares about her work.

They never seem to have anything in stock here. Went last weekend and this weekend thinking they would have more items back in stock but the shelves were even emptier than when I went last week. Not sure who is taking the inventory and doing the ordering but they definitely need to work on it. Lines are also very long with only one cashier.

The wait at this dollar tree is horrible. The cashiers are great and friendly, but they need more staff.

The people are generally nice and it’s a convenience for cards and party stuff but The store is very unsightly! I have been telling them for years that they need to clean the windows and replace the carpet. Hasn’t anyone noticed. It detracts from shopping center

Had mothers day cards so I figured I'd buy 2. Get to the register and they ring up at 1 penny each. Cashier said he can not sell them to me. I even offered to pay a dollar each. Nothing. I told the manager and she said she didnt know they were there. They were on a mothers day display but ok. Anyways issue unresolved.

The Dollar tree is an enjoyable shopping experience for me. I always buy WAY too much because everything is ONLY a dollar.

I just hate going there when it's busy and only 1 cashier is on a register.

I also think the floor plan could be changed. The aisles are too close together no matter how busy it is.
Just saying.

Everything is a dollar. Thats the only criteria. Is it dirty? Is it understaffed? Who cares. Everything is a dollar.

There are many dollar stores I've been to but the one I went to today for balloons and party stuff was really a good one it's always clean the people are nice and it's always well-stocked good place to shop

The manager at this place is extremely rude and unprofessional. My significant other and I went in today, March 9th, 2018, we purchased some items and proceeded to go to checkout. Our own mistake, we stood in the line to the right register where the woman shouts nastily to us, “If you’re checking out, I’m closed! Check out is on the other side. ” Alright, no problem. I didn’t say anything, simple mistake on both our parts. She didn’t have a closed sign nor did we know she was helping the couple last that was there. So we got into the other line, well she starts talking nasty about my significant other and I to the customers who were in line. I said loudly, “is there an issue? ” She proceeded to ignore me and was talking about us badly to the customers she was helping. I don’t understand why considering we didn’t do anything nor say anything. Besides me asking if there was an issue because she was mumbling and cursing about us? I don’t know what manager gets away with talking badly about their customers right in front of them, but hopefully something is done because that’s not how you manage a business and you certainly never talk down about a customer while they’re right there in front of you. I held my tounge and got into touch with corporate so hopefully she learns from being nasty. The young girl who checked us out with braids, is an absolute sweetheart. Her manager on the other hand, she was a nasty lady.

This is a great dollar store! I love it! But i recommend (if you can) to go to the dollar tree in trexlertown just because it's better, it has a wider selection, it's just a bit more clean, and it's next to marshalls/ kohls/ and near walmart
