Dominicana's Beauty Salon reviews
11Best place for a blow out but the wait is very long. The owner only does Hispanic’s hair that I’ve seen. I want the owner to do my hair but she never does. I don’t know why because my hair texture isn’t nappy. Other than that it’s a great place.
Customer service, it was okay.
The price was reasonable. They could have had a little bit more conversation with me to make me feel comfortable.
They did play nice music in their shop.
And two of the ladies knew how to sing very well.
I was happy with my color in my hair.
They did a wash and set on it, but they didn't pump it right. But they do take walk-ins that's great.
Never again will I go here. Worse haircut ever. I have never walked out of a salon unsatisfied. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it. I asked for lot of layers nope I asked shorter I had to ask her to cut more and still wasn't what I asked for. I gave a tip but believe me I will never go back nor recommend anyone.
They have favorites here, you can be first in line and they will still put their friend in front. They are very unprofessional! They ”try” to have a notebook, where you write your name and keep track on who’s going next, but they still don’t follow their notebook.
Usually go to Dominican house of beauty in Allentown but I tried this place…The environment was lively lots of Spanish music even 90’s R&B…They washed and conditioned my hair really well… I liked that I didn’t have to instruct them to be a lil aggressive so that my scalp is cleansed well especially since I just took braids down…Wait wasn’t to long especially since I arrived later in the evening…Was offered refreshments and arrived sober on a Friday evening and left tipsy…Had a great time…Left with my natural 4c hair silky straight…The roots could have been better but…Will definitely be back to go hang with my new homegirls ;-) …
Gave me chemical burn but my hair color looked good hair poofed up after a few days the style didn't last long at all but my cut is very cute
I've never had a problem here. I take my daughter here all the time to get her hair straightened!
They didn't dye my hair tight. Not happy. I could've done my hair myself. Won't ever go again.
My hair has been blown out to the point it burnt my hair off. I waited 20 minutes for the lady who probably did it to switch with a different person because i believe she burnt my hair. I have fine hair.i am combing through for and realize in the middle part of my head is short i just wanna cry please don’t go here
Loved this salon before the pandemic but it’s starting to go downhill.i normally pay $35 and they charged me $55.i got a hair treatment so it shouldn’t have passed $45.so if you go there be prepared to be charged outrageous prices.will find another salon that doesn’t overcharge.
Unsatisfied- I have curly coarse hair and she literally left the roots untouched. The ends were fine but the roots were a mess and I had to come home and finish it up. On top of that I feel like it was overpriced. My hair is neck length and she charged me $40 dollars. The most I have ever paid is $35 due to the fact my hair isn’t long. I don’t ever complain about prices but she should have at least try to bring down my roots
