I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews. The staff was friendly, Dr. Spivak did a thorough exam, Tina was alright, I've had better. But Janet. Janet just flat out rocked my world. Now bring me one of those chickens.

I have been going there for many years. Dr. Spivak is great and quick. Rob always orders what i am interested in and service is excellent. I have never encountered any issues.

The eye doctor was very good. However, the customer service front desk and other workers not to friendly. I have been going there a long time. There was a change with the front end receptionist. It has never been the same. I spend quite a bit of money in there because of the condition of my eyes. I got prescription glasses and sunglasses with prescription. I was just disappointed, and I am wavering going back because of the customer service relations.

Great service. Nice selection. Quick turnaround time. I can’t say enough nice things about them.

Dr. Spivak is the best optometrist I've ever been to in my life. Extremely nice and professional.

Honestly just show up 45 minutes after your appointment is supposed to start and then you’ll be on time. It takes forever for them to see you.

I don’t understand some of the negative reviews- I have never had such extensive thorough eye testing before with any eye Dr. Dr Spivak and his staff are knowledgeable and courteous. I cannot thank them enough for the great care and expertise they gave me. I have found an eye Dr for life! I highly recommend this practice and have refereed family and friends here as well

Definitely will be finding a new place to get my eye's checked.
Although I have been going here for over 10 years- I am made to wait for over an hour each time I make an appointment! It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Why make an appointment when there is no order to their system at all. I have tried making appointments at different times of the day and it is always a long wait.
COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

Very poor customer service. We walked in there to get some information about certain brands and models of sunglasses and try them on. There were a guy and a lady, and they barely acknowledged our presence even though we were the only customers in the store. The guy didn't even greet or talk to us, and the lady gave absolute minimum answers to our questions, and not even bothered explaining what was what; she just left us alone in front of the relevant isle and went back to her computer. It was extremely rude and I'd never shop from that store.

Disappointing and shady. I just wanted an eye exam to order contacts online. I've been wearing contacts for 30 years and I order disposable contacts in bulk from the manuafacturer. You still must have a yearly eye exam. I got the exam, but was refused a copy of my prescription! I did a little digging and they MUST, by law, give you a copy of your prescription on paper whether you request it or not. Don't go here.

Pushy older guy who gave exam. Tried talking me into most expensive contacts they had. Luckily one of the ladies out front who helped me buy glasses saved it she was fun and helpful but prob won’t be back again.

Very pushy about what contacts to wear. I was told it would take 10 days for my glasses to come in, it's been 3 weeks now. Very expensive place. I will never ever go there again. EVER.

Squeezed me in last minute, set me up with better contacts than I've been wearing in years. Great staff and prices.

Dormont Vision’s prices are expensive. Don’t think you are going to go for the exam and then buy online. I was told I had to pay $100 just to get my own prescription to order a second pair of glasses somewhere else. I live in Dormont and try to shop local whenever I can. I guess me and my family, who all wear glasses, will have to give our business to a vision center somewhere else. That is short-sighted thinking and bad business on Dormont Vision’s part.

I have been going for years. They always take good care of me and will go out of their way when needed.
