Staff is rudest staff I ever stayed at a hotel, pool was closed waste of a trip came from Ny. 1 restaurant in it is open but literally has like 5 things on the menu. The only good part was our room was nice and clean. Not worth 200$ a night

Parked my car here for a week. Receptionist lady was not helpful while parking the car and didn’t give clear instructions or the sticker to stick on the car. But while taking the car out, another gentlemen at the receptionist was kind enough and helped me.

This hotel deserves negative 1000 stars. I called Hilton Honors since I am a Diamond member and reserved a room on points. I specifically told the Diamond Desk that my girlfriend would be staying here with her son. They stated that was fine and made the reservation. Girlfriend shows up at the hotel and is denied being checked in because it is their policy that unless the point holder is here, that even though her name was on the reservation, she can't check in. I called and told them Hilton Honors Diamond Desk said this was ok. They didn't care and cancelled the reservation. I called back and asked to make a reservation then with my Amex and pay for it. I was hung up on. My girlfriend went to the desk with her CC and told them she needed a room. The guy stared at her behind the desk and just said "ok? " and did nothing. Wouldn't check her in. My gf is black and it's pretty obvious why they wouldn't check her and her son in. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!

I checked into the hotel on Friday 6/30/22. Upon arrival the front desk receptionist (Jorydn) was rude from the very start. I was standing there in front of her to check-in and she totally ignored me. I almost wanted to just leave and go to another hotel. However, as a handicap person my mobility did not allow me physically change hotels. Fortunately, another receptionist (Cherelle) came my rescue, she went even as far as to upgrade my room as I am a gold tier member. She was very polite as well as helpful. Darren from housekeeping was also very helpful, he even went out of his way to provide a refrigerator for my room. I must give a compliment to Darlene- front desk receptionist, she was very friendly and went above and beyond to treat me and other guest as well with dignity, respect and courteous. Overall, my stay was ok. Please pull Jorydn to the side and provide customer service training to her. Remember, I'm a guest and I do have choices.

The entire stay from check in to check out was very unsatisfactory. The line for check in was extremely long. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was never cleaned. We had no toilet paper in the room. The pool water was not only freezing but the pool area was disgusting. Then the cable went out. This was my third time staying at this location, and this time was extremely disappointing. I will not be returning.

Room smelled very moldy. Carpet needs to be replaced. Stains found on base of bed. This is a Hilton brand hotel for crying out loud. Replace the carpets & bed frames. That’s disgusting. Also, elevator & hallway had the same moldy smell not healthy for people who has breathing issues. FIX THESE ISSUES!

Staff I interacted with was friendly. Hotel is just very old & run down. Pantry at the front desk was completely empty. Room was pretty bad, old stained carpet, old TV, a wood frame around the wall AC unit was filthy, no refrigerator in the room. Just bad overall, will not stay here again. I had checked in & chosen a room through the app, but when I arrived, front desk person said "You don't want that room" and gave me another one. Considering how bad my room was, I'd hate to imagine how bad the other one was.

My experience at this particular hotel is split. Without explaining the entire situation, our booking was moved to a different date with an external booking site but the hotel did not recognize that the date was moved to. Upon showing up, we were greeted by a front desk staff member named Lisa, who seemed like she was not interested in helping. She told us to call the external booking site and have them figure it out. I explained to her that the external booking site wait time was at least 30 to 45 minutes she said just keep calling them. This is not exactly what I want to hear after a full day of traveling. Now I’m forced to sit in the lobby of the hotel on hold with a staff member who seems like she has no interest in figuring out the situation. On the other hand, there was a front desk staff member named Danny, who was such a delight. His overall positive demeanor was very much appreciated. I’m not 100% sure what he did but after typing on the computer for a minute and cross referencing some things he proceeded to hang up on the external booking site I was on the phone with. For lack of a better term he figured it out. I am so grateful to him for remaining positive and helping us through this strange situation.

Booked last minute due to flight being cancelled. Lots of flights cancelled that day so they were very busy. Staff was very helpful and pleasant regardless. Hotel bar was really good

Currently staying at the DoubleTree for a local soccer tournament. The team rented 18 rooms. The front desk staff is very nice. However, the entire hotel and especially the rooms, are a huge disappointment! You can clearly tell that this hotel has been neglected by the owners, Sotherly Hotels, Inc. The amount of dust in the hotel room was unbelievable. The pictures show the proof. By the way, these are just a couple of pictures that I chose to post. The entire hotel has been neglected for decades. We will not be staying here again. There are other options in the area at hotels that are much nicer for the same rates. If you are staying at this DoubleTree, please do not take your frustration out on the staff. The individuals that work there are simply trying to make a living and they are not responsible for the decisions that led to the long term neglect of this hotel by Sotherly Hotels. If people keep staying at this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, then Sotherly does not really have any incentive to reinvest in the property.

If you're looking for a reason not to stay here, this is it. I checked into my room and heard water running. I thought maybe the faucet was running - nope! There was water pouring down through the ceiling light fixture. Nearly a waterfall, it was not just a casual drip.

Went downstairs, waited a while since they were very understaffed. The front desk went back to talk to her manager, came back and asked if they could send the building engineer up, if he fixes it they'd like me to keep the same room. I laughed, the carpets were soaked, the bathroom was flooded. They did move me into another room.

In the middle of the night, someone blasted music for about 30 minutes too. That was a nice touch.

The hotel is outdated, it has a post apocalyptic vibe. The bar/restaurant was also understaffed, took so long to get food and drink. I don't blame the staff, I blame management.

It is what it is. It was a 10 minute drive to the airport so that's why it gets 2 stars.

Second time staying here. The first time the room was never vacuumed. There was shredded paper on the floor and the restroom/Shower had a strong weed like smell. On my second stay, the shower had a leak so it kept running all night, and the AC worked intermittent. I had to get up multiple times at night to try to get it to come on, eventually stopped working at 2 am. On both stays there has been people having very loud conversation in the hallway late at night. The gym is a sauna, I've had to ask the front desk to turn down the temp, they showed when I was already done with my workout. Not a very restful night.

Very friendly staff. They explained in detail all the amenities and benefits. Made a follow text to see if everything was right. I enjoyed my stay.

Despite this property being listing on the Honors site, I wish I had read the reviews prior to my stay. The hotel did what they could to correct my concerns but believe the comments about the room conditions, overall customer service and dated nature of this property. There much work needed at this property to truly live up to the Hilton brand.

We ended up here after American stranded us in NYC. We took the Amtrak to Philly to catch our flight the next morning and my husband booked this hotel. He’s not allowed to book hotels again. Front desk staff Cherri was friendly. We were given a room on the second floor, 202. There were dirty sheets in the hall from room 201 and they were there the next day. Their housekeeping staff needs training. There were items on the floor and the bathroom from the previous guest that indicated they didn’t vacuum or clean the bathroom countertop. The bed was clean and comfortable though. The small fridge in the room was the most beat up one I’ve ever seen. Was in the room 8 hours and was glad that was it. Didn’t want to risk showering there. Wore my socks on the carpet. I have blonde hair and lots of dark hair picked up. Ewww.

Hotel was dirty. Air conditioner leaked and soaked the floor with water. Bathroom shower amenities were empty. Front desk was less than helpful. Check in process was extremely long.couldn't even buy a drink from the front desk bc they didn't have change for a $10.restaurant doesn't open until 2pm. It was all bad.

Very dirty room, carpet was not cleaned, cobwebs in the windows. Would not stay here again. Was not worth the price, many other better options around.
