Downerss is my favorite clothing boutique anywhere! Rivka, the owner, is SO kind, friendly and stylish. The store is filled with tons of timeless classics AND on trend items as well. Everything is super affordable. She also supports local makers and their creations! Love love love Downerss!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! It's the best boutique fashion shop in Philly and they deserve their good press (they were prominently featured with their fashionable owner Rivka, in Philly Mag and other media this year). There is a dearth of curated retail shopping in Philly, with Joan Shepp, Sugarcube, and a scattering of similar looking No Libs independent stores being all that really come to mind. For the price point, and the combination of Instagram worthy looks/idea, a commitment to fit all bodies and curate brands that do so, lots of collaborations with local artists and designers, and a tasteful holistic section with aromatherapy, oils, candles, and plant arrangements, this place is really something special and should be a part of any fishtown excursion!
