Downtown Deli And Catering, Harrisburg PA

For a while the Downtown Deli was not 1 of my favorite places. I felt the people at the register were kinda mean.
I wasn't going to return to the Deli but 1 day I saw and spoken to their Masked Employee who was dancing outside to car music
He was so nice & polite & took me by surprise of his knowledge of Bible Scriptures which goes a long way & it's obvious that he's touched by the spirit.
The fact that he keeps bright outlook on a job that he has held over 10 years has convinced me & my friends to return

I bought a bacon, egg, and cheese (with a hash brown), for $13.00. The food was cold and soggy as though it was sitting there for hours. I think they’re making sandwiches in the morning and having them sit there all day until people buy them. It certainly wasn’t made in real-time.

The food was all incredibly small portioned for the hefty prices.

Won’t be coming again.

BBQ chicken sandwich is very good. My co workers loved their subs. Always have very good service and friendly staff.

Was very disappointed the place was dirty the people were not friendly poor service and the food was nasty!

My company was having a meeting out of town. We called a before and Lloyd emailed me a PDF to send to our managers. On the day of the meeting I called and was able to email a picture of our large order! Lloyd emailed back to let me know they ran out of something and gave options for a substitute. They were able to accommodate our large party of 20 with a label for each order - first and last name! AND got all orders correct! Thanks so much Downtown!

Great food, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for an affordable option in downtown HBG for breakfast or lunch on a weekday - this is it.

I ordered a corned beef sandwich and a medium soda for $13. The sandwich was small like it should be for a kid, and not very good. I enjoyed the soda. I don't see myself coming back.

Great go-to for lunch or breakfast in downtown Harrisburg, Pa. Lunch rush (busiest) noon to 1pm.

Ordered a $9 BLT. Generous portions; it was a GREAT sandwich - one of the best I've ever had. A little heavy on the mayo, but it didn't detract. Inside doesn't look that inviting, but we would definitely go back. It's a terrific find.

I payed $8 for a sandwich tht was way to small for tht price. I ordered a hashbrown with it and I saw her look threw them and pick one tht was first made so it was cold and way to hard. Never comin here again place is bull

Ordered from here twice and both times the food was great. Generous portion sizes and not expensive. Only downside is they make the food right away, even if you schedule for a future time. IE I take my lunch at 130 so I scheduled my pickup for that time but they made the food and said it was ready 5 minutes after I placed the order. This happened the first time and I thought maybe it was a fluke but they did it the second time as well. Just be prepared for that when doing an online order because your food (hot or cold) will be sitting on the counter that entire time.
