Awesome dentist. My wife loves this place. Had veneers here 11 years ago and they are still holding. Great doctor and facility.

I did my Invisalign with Dr. Cirka and I could not be happier with my result! I travelled all the way from NYC and was promptly seen without any issues. The front desk staff were very efficient and checked me in seamlessly.

Dr. Cirka listened to my needs and delivered exactly what I wanted for my teeth. It took months of wearing Invisalign and each adjustment was spot on. I highly recommend his office for any dental needs!

I just visited Dr. Cirka's office as a new patient today, and had a surprisingly amazing experience. From my first contact with Caroline, their scheduling coordinator, I was treated with kindness, empathy and she actually cared and listened to me.
My office visit was quick and they abided by all of the CDC protocols to keep us safe. I was x-rayed, and Dr Cirka came in to discuss my care plan, which was far less dramatic than what I had envisioned lol. Stephen, their financial coordinator was helpful, down to earth and took care of my financial worries in 5 minutes, then sent me to finish my scheduling. Everyone who I encountered in this practice was lovely, kind and thorough and made a dreaded dentist visit something pleasant. Thank you all so much!

Heads up - THE OFFICE DOES NOT REQUIRE STAFF TO BE VACCINATED, and if you ask to be scheduled with vaccinated providers, they will refuse your request.

I've gone to Dr. Cirka for 7 years, and was previously pretty happy with the practice. Unfortunately, their response to COVID concerns is seriously lacking, and I cannot continue to patronize a dental practice that does not seem to believe in and/or respect science.

I don't think it's insane to ask that only vaccinated folks work on me since they're literally going to be standing over my open orifices while breathing over my face, but apparently they will not accommodate any such requests. Nor will they agree to have staff wear N95 masks even though these people may be unvaccinated.

They will also tell you that they cannot ask employees about their vaccination status. Check the EEOC guidance on that issue - this is NOT true. Employers absolutely can inquire as to an employee's vaccination status though they cannot inquire as to WHY an employee is unvaccinated.

I would avoid this practice unless you enjoy playing the "Is this person who is standing over my open mouth and nose (while breathing and talking to me) vaccinated? !? " game. In which case, enjoy and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Otherwise, if you need a new dentist, check out Philadelphia Dental Associates. They're good and they're all vaccinated (confirmed with office).

David Tecosky on 25th and Brown Street are also good and they're all vaccinated (confirmed with office).

He might be really good at dentistry but I wouldn’t know because when I went for a consult Dr. Cirka was rude, and gave me such a hard time that even his assistant tried to comfort me when he left the room. I understand how a dentist could be frustrated when a patient hasn’t taken great care of their teeth, but not everyone can afford to do more than brush and floss and no one should be made to feel bad because they can’t afford to go to the dentist regularly.

My wife and I had 3 visits. Before scheduling, she asks "are you covered by our insurance" and they answer "yes". After our third visit, I ask why the coverage amount is so low. After 5 minutes of my pushing, they finally answer "because we are not in your insurance company's network".

Most providers tell you immediately if they are out of network. Instead these guys hid the info to get a fatter paycheck. I should have been more careful in the scheduling, but also F them and their shady business practices.

Edit: after reading other reviews, my wife and I were not the only ones scammed by what appears to be a consistent set of sketchy business practices. Avoid this place!

Rachel and Dr. Jeon were great! This was my first visit and they did a great job answering all my questions, also the front desk staff were very helpful with getting all of my paperwork in order. Everyone was very nice and professional, and I’m happy to have found my new dentist.

Comfortable and professional atmosphere. Extremely personable and attentive and staff. Dr. Cirka completely transformed my smile. He's exspensive but pretty hurts.both physically and financially.

I, much like the majority of people, fear going to the dentist. However, it took two years (trust me, I was surprised myself that my last visit here was two years ago while in my head I thought it was six months) and multiple cancellations and several text messages, as well as a reminder that I paid for my cleaning so why not show up to finally come today on 02/11/2020.

I had a bad experience with a dentist in my early teen years so going into any dentist office terrifies me but it was nice for the hygienist and Dr. Jeong to say that they're proud of me for even showing up and made sure I was comfortable, asking me several times that if they can do anything, please let them know.

They are upfront with everything and if there is any billing concerns, they don't hesitate in explaining over your bill and asking Steven (who I think is the manager?) to invite you into his office and speaking privately with you. There's absolutely no surprises in my honest opinion.

My dental cleaning was very pleasant and I wasn't in any pain whatsoever. I look forward to coming back!

AVOID this practice! They push expensive and questionably necessary treatments (mainly Invisalign), and worse yet, are not upfront with the fact that they are out of network providers with ALL insurance companies. There are numerous complaints on file with the Better Business Bureau attesting to this fact.

I was referred to the practice by my in-network hometown dentist. I have MetLife Dental, and I have had 3 appointments. I was NEVER verbally told the practice was an out of network provider. In fact, I asked SPECIFICALLY if they were, two separate employees both before and after my initial consult, and both employees responded that "they take my insurance" which I understood to mean they were in-network. They don't "take insurance", they will submit to it as an out of network provider after the patient pays upfront. This is thoroughly dishonest, bordering on fraudulent conduct for a Dental practice, in my opinion, particularly because many patients (myself included) are covered by an insurance policy through a family member and may not know the details of their policy, and rely on healthcare providers to be upfront about how they bill.

Aside from the shifty billing, the two different dentists I saw with the practice (for a total of no more than 5 minutes per visit) contradicted eachother, AND the hygienist, about what care was necessary for me.

My hygienist during the first visit suggested I keep my permanent orthodontic retainer "as long as possible", because it "was doing its job perfectly", yet the dentist I saw later that visit said it "needed to be removed immediately so I could start Invisalign" and tried to schedule me for an appointment to remove it. I had braces when I was younger, and have perfectly straight teeth. I made it clear I was NOT INTERESTED in Invisalign.

When I went to pay for the cleaning after the first visit, I was sent to a back office to discuss "payment options for my Invisalign treatment", and was pressured into signing a form that included $5000+ in charges for an Invisalign treatment I explicitly refused. They also attempted to charge me $500+ to make a custom nightguard retainer, even though I already have, and use, an upper retainer made for me by my orthodontist. Of course I refused to pay for either, and I was still sent advertisements for Invisalign treatment to both the email and the phone number I provided the practice for appointment reminders.

They also have been pressuring me to get a full set of x-rays at each appointment, even though I provided them with the phone number and the website of my previous dentist, where I have a recent set of x-rays on file. They called the wrong practice, and then claimed that my old practice refused to send the x-rays. I confirmed with my old practice that they never received a request for my records.

Absolutely ridiculous, untrustworthy, borderline fraudulent conduct.

I met Dr. Cirka and was impressed with his demeanor. I have an appointment with him in April to fix a cracked filling. I am confident all will go well. Dr. Cirka's commitment to excellent care and service is evident when you meet him and his staff.
