4This was my wife’s 1st time at this office. Staff was very friendly. My wife has epilepsy as well as crohn’s. She started to have a seizure in the room after her blood pressure and oxygen were taken by the nurse. The nurse called Dr. Braun into the office, and she asked if my wife had fallen down? When I explained, no she was having a partial seizure, she said I don’t know you guys or her and kept repeating that statement. Then she said we need to call 911, and that she can’t see her today. I understand she didn’t know us at all, but I think the appropriate thing to say first is.is your wife ok? Not to freak out and make the situation worse. My wife was extremely upset and in tears after we left. It was an awful experience for us. Dr Braun was not caring or compassionate to my wife, and was more worried about getting us out of there than she was worried about her potentially new patient. We would never go back there, ever! In a way we were happy this happened. We didn’t even have to chance to see if she was a good doctor, but I can say bed side manners matter when it comes to us choosing a doctor for my wife.
I have seen Dr. Braun a few times now and she is by far one of the most thorough doctors I have ever met. She has an awesome personality and always explains everything to me in a way that I understand. I never feel uncomfortable around here or any of her staff. She was recommended to me by another co-worker that was also blown away by her. If you need a gastro, Dr. Braun is the doctor you need!
A few years ago, I had a severe hemorrhage in my stomach.
After a few days of internal bleeding, I believed that I had the flu. Of course, it only got worse. After going to Lower Bucks Hospital, I met with GI Dr Braun. She did several tests and I was taken into surgery. That afternoon, Dr Kristin Braun literally saved my life by fixing the internal injury. If I didn't go into the Hospital to seek medical attention, I wouldn't have survived to see that Friday morning.
