2Today I had an appointment with Dr. Bornt to have my nexplanon changed. As Dr. Bornt walked in she had a big smile on her face and it quickly changed to a concerned/mad face. She then quoted “I can’t do this. Your perfume is to strong. ”, it seemed as if she didn’t want to give me the nexplanon or didn’t want to see me in general because her facial expression changed as soon as she saw me and i overheard a conversation of a nurse reminding her I came in today. As a former hospital employee, I can assure you I do not wear any perfume while going into doctors appointments for many different reasons. Also nurses have stated to me in the office that they did not smell anything on me. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated by Dr. Bornt today, by being denied medical services.
I can’t express how much I appreciate Dr. Bornt and her staff! Dr. Bornt is willing to listen, she respects the fact that I prefer a more “natural” way of treating my body, she gives me different options, explain things in great detail and allows me to make choices for myself…and GUESS WHAT! She doesn’t treat me any different for choosing natural remedies that work for me! So, THANK-YOU for not judging me and dismissing me like other so called medical professionals have done over the years!
