Dr. Ritu Khurana, MD: Rheumatology, Glen Mills PA

Let’s just say I should have read the reviews. She’s terrible about calling people back about test results. I’ve had to call 3 times and still nothing.

This was my first visit with Dr. Khurana. I went to her for a second opinion; and I’m beyond impressed. My case is complicated and has been so hard for many to figure out and I’m so glad I got a second opinion before acting on a misdiagnosis of lupus with an aggresssive treatment. Dr. Khurana heard and respected my hesitation with medication, paid attention to past results, and ordered more test to try and get to the bottom of it. She reviewed my records before seeing me and felt like she knew my history before walking through the door, spent almost an hour with me, and was extremely thorough. She was compassionate, knowledgeable, and I felt she will genuinely help me get to the bottom of my symptoms.

She is brilliant, patient, will spend time with you, explain everything to you and she really knows her field. So impressed, recommending my friends

I’m putting 3 Stars but wish I could leave a review without picking any stars. I have not met Dr Khurana because her office is hard to deal with.
I first called within listed business hours and waited on hold for 16 mins before it connected me with a person. When someone answered it was an answering service center who were unpleasant to speak with and said you cannot leave a message for the office for the next day, which I had never heard of.

So I called the next morning during open posted hours and it again went to this line.

I waited and called back and got the office and the woman who answered was short and curt, again an unpleasant experience before even getting in to the office.

At this point I’m disappointed because I would have loved to meet this Dr that is apparently well respected but it’s not worth being treated poorly to get to her.

Does not answer or return calls. Called numerous times for test results and never received a call back. Unconscionably unprofessional!

Dr Kharuna is the BEST!
She is SO SMART!
SO INFORMATIVE!
Put me at ease about my diagnosis.
And laid out her plan to cure my issue.

My husband- Wayne, just saw Dr Khurana for 1st visit, he was completely excited by the great experience seeing this doctor. Very friendly and took the time to talk with him and she really listened and explained everything thoroughly. He came home and Thanked me for finding her & scheduling an appt with her! KUDO's to Dr Khurana!

Nothing positive to say. Four messages left unanswered through the answering service for an emergent question. No patient service, not even the courtesy of a return call. Very frustrated with lack of patient care!
