Driver License Center, Huntingdon Valley PA

Line outside. No problem. I ask if you need to get a ticket to wait in line. No one knows. So I go in.

Theres people sitting to the left and a huge line on the right waiting for the seats. One lady is at a booth serving one customer.

I wait and then ask if we need a ticket to wait outside. Rather than answer, booth lady Says, "There's a line "

Like, y-yes i clearly know that.that's why I asked if we need a number b4 getting in it. The issue isn't getting in line, it's not knowing if there's a requirement before getting in line

Turns out you need to wait in line just to see booth lady and THEN sit down. The line to see booth lady was so long it stretched outside. You do not need a ticket to see booth lady. There are no signs. You're supposed to magically know this on a first visit

I apologized and said np. Went to leave, but since the miserable security guard needs to feel useful after standing there the whole time, they rudely chimed in about how I need to wait outside.

Again.i know.that's why I'm at the door to exit the building.

Which, you saw me walk in, get in line at the booth and said nothing. Don't pretend to care and catch an attitude now.

It's one thing to be incompetently setup, its another to have no signs and catch an attitude when no one in or outside was sure what to do

The older black man called “supervisor” is the rudest person I’ve ever met. Without knowing the law he immediately started yelling on me threatening other people. He wanted from me to show my work authorization where my status “Asylum Granted” doesn’t require work authorization. If anyone from DMV ever read this please hire knowledgeable people.

The lady at the front desk was great. The "guard" was nasty and just sat down and was on her phone the whole time. She would get up and go outside once in a while. The bathroom was disgusting. Other than that the center was organized as far as getting numbers. Could have had more counters open especially ok n a Saturday.

I understand some people's frustration with long lines but I have to say that I had a great experience at Huntington Valley DMV last week. I came to apply for Real ID, mostly to gather information, but thanks to amazing stuff and their friendly approach I walked away with a completed application. Real ID came in mail 3 days (!) later. Special thanks to the lady who checked my documents at entrance - because of her advice I was able to complete everything in one visit.

Sitting for 2 hrs now and they seem to not like calling E numbers only three have been called since I been here what's up with that

They were great. I went to Bensalem and the line was 300 feet long and they were letting only one person at a time. I went to this one and there were 11 people in front of me. They gave me an id instead of a license but fixed it in less than 10 minutes. Even with the mistake I was in and out in less than an hour. They were great.

This is the third time I am visiting this Center. I did not encounter any problems the first two times. Today, when I went to renew my driver’s license, I encountered a man (elderly one with the white French beard) who asked me for my immigration documents. I handed over my DS2019 which is the only changed document with the updated date. He took it, looked at me and asked for more immigration documents. I searched briefly and then gave my I-94 document (by the way this document was submitted when I got my driver’s license in the first place). He then looked at me and said “It is irritating when immigrants do not show all the immigration documents”. I was taken aback by his words. Although an immigrant, I am a cardiovascular scientist who has made significant contributions to science irrespective of boundaries. I leave it at this…

The Photo Center opens at 8: 30am and when I got there at 8: 40 there was already a line outside and around the side.

It appeared that there were allowing people to enter in groups of 5. After 25 minutes I wasn't near the door so I decided to leave.

I understand the crowd wasn't the fault of the Photo Center but there has to be a better way to deal with the numbers. Better communication would have helped.

The manager at this location does not even deserve one star. On Saturday, I observed him being rude, disrespectful, and racist to a young lady who was trying to ask in a nice way why they would not extend her driver's license, and OMG, this guy wanted to call the cops on her instead of explaining the reason—yelling and screaming in front of everyone, asking her to leave. There was no reason why he needed to act like that. He definitely needs another job, NOT in the customer service field. If you hate your job that much, just leave and stop yelling at others!
I hope this review can be seen by his management!

Manager doesn’t know he is job don’t know immigration documents. Didn’t recognize EAD card from USCIS was asked for I797 form biometric appointment paper requested to court papers he doesn’t know what he saying or requesting he wanted to see case number which is clearly showing on the EAD card he was approved me with old i797 with wrong address from other state then I corrected them show them they was wrong and proof them he doesn’t know he’s job he even not recognized tried to call the cops looks like he tired from this job he isn’t polite to me. Very rude to the customers, not good organized company it should be managed i was going back and forth 2 times at front desk elderly man said bring the SS card all will be fine then after more 3 hour they asked me above mentioned i797 papers totally I spent my all day just to change my DRivers license it’s not acceptable! I hope management will read my comments

Despite I spent 2 hours in total in the DMV (due to lane) I can say I had the best experience visiting DMV because of their staff. They are polite, don't yell and clarify issues you have. Thank you all with whom I was talking today, special thank you to Steven!

Was crowded while we were there. Waiting area was clean. Employees were friendly and efficient and moved things along as well as possible.

The woman that greets you and checks you in is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. She made the entire visit pleasant.

The main woman at register is awesome! She is so knowledgeable, friendly & kind. The place itself, smelled awful like body odor! I hope they fumigate this super breeding space for Covid. Stay safe!

A Karen that works there almost made my cry. Passed my test drive and the instructor told me they were close but that I just had to open the door and tell them I passed so they can give me my license, the lady closed the door on my face as soon as I try to open it, I tried to explain I passed my test and she kept saying "idc we are close, we are close, I cant do anything, we cant do anything when we are close, come other day" she didnt let me speak and my husband saw it from the parking lot and explained I passed my driver's test, she listened to my husband, maybe she didnt listened to me cause I have a broken accent, idk, most stress full day, she was like sorry, but i was already almost in tears, thanks.

I watched people doing their driving test. Everyone parked in the second space. Driving Instructor told me to park in the first space full of potholes. Failed me during Parallel parking told me next time. I should hit the curb? Wish I would've saw the reviews on minorities complaints at this center. Would've went else where.

Never thought I'd be writing his review, but what a pleasant experience at the DMV! I got there 45 minutes before opening to transfer my license to the state and get a Real ID. There were about 50 people ahead of me, so I did have to wait outside awhile. Once 8: 30 arrived, the line started moving. I was completely finished and back in my car by 9: 33. The workers were friendly and moved fast. When I left, I noticed that the line was to about where I was standing when I arrived, so I'm thinking that means I didn't have to get there early and wait the 45 minutes.

The driving instructor was very rude, and non social to me. I began my road test with parallel parking and after one try he failed me. Never had three try’s. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

We did everything ok.he told us to go around the parking lot.so the cars parkt at the stop sign didn't let as to go around so we backed up a little. For this we have to come again. No sense.the worst place.
