Drybar - Center City reviews
14Make sure to see My, she's an awesome stylist and works so hard to get it perfect. Thanks My!
I recently visited Drybar for a blow dry service and was extremely disappointed with the unprofessional treatment I received. The stylist was rough, frequently pulling on my ears, and showed little regard for my comfort, using water that was either too hot or too cold. The service was interrupted and, shockingly, left incomplete. To add insult to injury, during my next appointment, I was questioned about not leaving a tip previously, which felt very inappropriate given the poor service I had experienced. And the manager then said, “it is weird that you have not tipped. Usually that means something is wrong. ” I had my hair stylist eating while prepping my hair do.
It seems to me that the salon could benefit from some professional coaching and appropriate customer service.
Fabulous blowout from Tri! He is so personable and gave me a beautiful blowout with curls that are poppin!
Sunny did a great job on my hair. Super fast and lasted all night. Staff was friendly. I will be back!
Loved my first experience at Drybar. I had Sunny. They were amazing and beyond accommodating! Great work on my thick head of hair. I would highly recommend this location. They have a great vibe with music and wonderful front desk customer service.
Everyone at this shop is a star! As soon as I walked in I felt the love, I didn’t even want to leave. We had so much fun during my service, the music was going, the atmosphere was amazing and I had a blast! My hair could not have looked better! Dominic my stylist was not only fast… he a magician! A whole vibe! The girls at the desk were absolute dolls! I got some products and my next time in Philly, I will definitely be back! Thanks Drybar Crew for making my whole trip! I was looking and feeling too cute!
Had the best experience! My - the amazing stylist who created my up-do - did a fabulous job bringing my (very) loose vision to life. Cianni, Naomi, and Natalia were the kindest and most supportive - sharing all the joy and female empowerment. Couldn’t recommend this salon more!
Dominic is amazing! I have so much fun with him and the energy in the shop is so great! Cianni is always so sweet at the desk
Loved this blowout! My hairstylist was named My and she was phenomenal and so fast! Thank you dry bar!
My go to for blow outs in Philly! I always go to Sunny and he does an excellent job. He’s great at managing my natural hair texture (4C). Very consistent and friendly customer service every time I visit this location also.
Dominic did an absolutely phenomenal job on my blowout for my friend’s rehearsal dinner. He was so much fun, and the style on my bangs lasted me well into the next 48 hours. Such a great experience!
Very awkward and horrible experience when trying to treat myself to a relaxing morning. Music was inappropriate in both type and volume. I wasn’t greeted with any hospitality, care or concern whatsoever. The stylist doing my service blasted me with freezing water and was openly hostile and aggressively rude towards me. If I hadn’t had soaking wet hair and it wasn’t snowing outside, I would have absolutely got up and left. Stylist after abusing me and being confronted about it, declined to complete my hair and left me sitting there with dripping wet hair. Manager did their best to recover the situation but it was so difficult given the appalling way I was treated by the stylist. 100% unacceptable and needs to be addressed. The manager did give me a small gift bag and $5 off, but seemed complacent with stylists outrageous behavior, citing “sometimes peoples personalities don’t click”. It is not my role or responsibility as a paying patron to make sure my stylist is in a good enough mood to behave like a professional when at work. Absolutely appalling service, shameful and actually shocking given my usual experience with Drybar.
A wonderful experience from beginning to end. So nice they took me a little bit early because I need to take it out quick. My style is Tia was absolutely! I’m from LA and usually use the Westlake village. Dry Bar and I just found this experience so much better.
