DuBois Country Club reviews
14We love it at the country club. The burgers are amazing. The cheesesteak is one of the best ones in the area. Wings are awesome. The golden ones are my favorite. I can't say enough about the place. The staff are very friendly and the food is consistent every time. The only bad thing is the poperie when you walk in. Other than that (it's only in the doorway), one of the best resteraunts in dubois, they do have great specials through the week.
Beautiful facility and even more amazing staff! Joel & Joe go above and beyond! Thank you for the great evening!
I am currently staying in this hotel and can definitely confirm it is a high-class experience. It is well decorated and includes all the modern amenities you would come to expect from a quality hotel. They have a beautiful indoor heated pool and a substantial hottub. They have a library for use for the hotel guests, which I think is a nice touch. I thought the staff were very friendly, I personally talked to both Joseph and Danyalle, and they definitely know how to make people feel welcome for their hotel stay. I ended up staying in this town due to a serious blizzard. However, I ended up quite glad and did and am happy I got to experience this lovely place. If you need to stay at a hotel around the area, this will definitely be my goto if I return.
Great that it was next to the hotel. But if you go on a Saturday when there is a bunch of drunk guys trying to play golf and then getting lost in the hotel. But they do make good entertainment.
We had dinner at The Tannery. Menu was varied and interesting. We had salads on their Tue night Buy One, Get One Half Off deal. Our server was competent and friendly. The salad portions - 1) a classic wedge with a side of sirloin tips and 2) a grilled salmon salad- were large. All components were fresh and flavorful. Price was competitive. Atmosphere was low key and comfortable. We would happily eat there again.
Golf was cheap for a "country club", but fairways were a mess. Greens were in good shape at least.
Lack of vending machines was the only real negative. Otherwise, clean room and good amenities.
Nice golf course. Only downside to play was that a number of the holes were on the side of hills, and, therefore, you had to play/hit on a slope. Otherwise, the greens and tee boxes were well kept. Some local wildlife (a doe and two fauns) joined us. My son enjoyed it immensely (it was only his second time golfing). Price was unbeatable (using the GolfNow app, we paid $33 for both of us to play 18 holes with a cart!).
For those who are playing DCC for the first time, I would suggesting taking some water or buying some before heading out. We played on a 90+ degree day and there was no water on the course. Thankfully, we each took a bottle and filled up after the front nine.
Great stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. If you need anything you need to go to the front desk to get it I am assuming because of short staff. Pool was great open until 11 pm.
Every time I attempt to describe this place, I exhaust my vocabulary. From its vast, well-appointed lobby to its comfy library and its Day Spa, Tannery Restaurant. Country Club golf course, and its amazing breakfast area, it's easily my favorite Choice Hotel.
This hotel was beautiful so very clean had a pool the hot tub they claim they are queen-size beds but they are not queen size they are double beds very nice people check-in was just Grand nice people
This is my family's choice hotel whenever we travel on the 80. We literally never go anywhere else! Huge rooms. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast menu. Comfortable beds. What else can one want in a hotel?
