Dukes Bar & Grille, Mechanicsburg PA

We've loved it here since it opened as well as the original restaurants, but this last time was awful. I always get the fish and chips as they WERE so good and my favorite around here. Well, they changed the batter the waitress said when she brought us our food. It was overcooked and the fish was super dried out and hard in some pieces. The new batter is so thick and hard it was just terrible. I only ate about half or picked at it really and wasted the rest. Why change it?: (Also, we were seated out in that garage area where the seats are awful and it was loud. The waitress was also very inattentive and kept disappearing. Never got a refill on my drink.

Love this place. It was our second time eating there. We are truck drivers and found this place last time we came into town. Very clean and friendly people. Food is great

Food was awesome and the service was great! If they took reservations on weekends maybe our party of 12 wouldn't have had to wait for a table. Overall excellent!

I ordered the pork barbecue sandwich and my wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak baked potato. The service was fast and the food was delicious.

Early Birthday lunch. - Great Server, delicious food, great Ambience, My first visit to a Duke's. I will gladly return. TY.

Wait staff was cold and food was meh but flowers were BEAUTIFUL and seating was comfy. Our waitress was nice when she handed us the check. But prior could barely be bothered by us. No worries. We tipped her 25% anyway because it's a tough job.

Duke's has another location! Stopped in for lunch and as always, it never disappoints!

This place never disappoints! Quality is always top-notch, and their crab cakes are probably the best on this side of the Delaware Shore.

I am giving this restaurant 1 star because first off I ordered a chicken sandwich which said on the menu it had chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and onions I said no onions please because I don’t like onions and I made sure that it didn’t have bacon or ham in it and they said no.after it came I ate 4-5 bites and the tomatoes came off and I saw ham in it I said can you please give me another sandwich with everything in it except ham and it came again and there were no tomatoes in it. Also we had to call someone like 10 times and then they came

This dukes is better then the wormleysburg one crabby pretzel is the best around and Willie's sweet stac is awesome.

Ordered to go. I paid $16 for an extremely small serving of the crab cheese dip and I guess they threw in a loaf of bread for good measure? What the heck? How ridiculous!

Nice place for a good meal. We have been quite often. A plentiful menu and nice seating areas throughout. Double bar and a pizza oven. The food is good and service adequate.
