I don't normally review places, but this place deserves 500/5.the butcher was so nice, and seemed so genuinely excited to show me different cuts of meat and tell me how to cook it up. And his excitement carried over to the pan because holy moly the steak I had for lunch was absolutely DELICIOUS! 10/10, will be returning for my future meat purchases.

I used the catering service for a recent event I hosted and received so many comments from guests on how tasty the food was! The team was incredibly responsive and easy to work with when making the initial food selections and everything arrived early and was professionally presented. I would use their catering service again without hesitation!

We ordered the Valentines Dinner for 2 and could not be happier with it. It was so easy and delicious! It was packaged adorably and came with step-by-step, easy to read instructions which we followed exactly. Our dinner could not have been yummier - the steaks were perfectly medium rare, the twice baked potatoes and broccolini cooked just right and everything seasoned to perfection. Thanks so much for making a special dinner easy!

The best butcher shop around, hands down. The quality is ALWAYS on point, whether it's the hot lunches or products from the case. The staff goes above and beyond to answer your questions, ensure quality, and they never mind giving my pup a treat:) Since we moved to Wyomissing 2 years ago, it's become a weekly stop for lunches and ingredients for dinner. Don't sleep on Dundore!

I can’t believe I have never reviewed this place. But it is awesome. Whether it’s Wednesday meal nights or a quick lunch, they always deliver. Every product in their store is fresh and the owner stands behind everything. They have mastered the art of the Main Street butcher shop, with the freshness and quality you would get in any organic speciality store.

Went here today for the first time and it felt good to taste the liverwurst. I was really good, also got a few things of seasonings for Thanksgiving. The owner is also amazing!

I visited today to learn more about this meat shop and was assisted by Mark who provided exceptional customer service. He was beyond knowledgeable about the products from which farms the animals came from to the diet and of course the cuts of meat. I would feel comfortable purchasing meat from somewhere that prioritizes ethical, sustainable, and healthy options for those that choose to eat meat. I really appreciate the time he took to answer all of my questions and educate me about their philosophy and products. I would definitely recommend anyone who purchases meat products to come and visit and see for themselves the selections. They also had prepared foods that although I did not sample, smelled very appetizing.

Very nice shop, immaculate. Over priced for what I purchased, chicken necks and backs. They have already made their money on the cut up chickens. Necks are a discard most of the time, some butchers will freeze them for customers but not at $4.25 per pound. I am a retired chef and I never paid this much, not even when I lived in NYC.

This shop is super nice! The meat looks great and we also had a burger and fries and they were delicious! Definitely worth a stop!

This is a fantastic butcher shop with aged meat, prime cuts, plenty of side dishes in rotation, and excellent service. I visit regularly to experience the awesome.

Excellent customer service! Me and my wife were riding on the motorcycle when we past this place. Smelled the good grilling and popped a U-turn. The BBQ was going and the gentleman or king of the grill was super nice! Made us feel welcomed and gave us the run down on the menu. Recommend us to go in and see all that they have before making a decision. We went in and the same customer service was inside as well! When we got our food we sat at the bench outside of the establishment and got into a really good conversation with the owner who was sitting across from us. This guy was so lax and down to earth! You can see how happy it makes him to serve his customers and provide good service. We talked about our kids and all that lol. Also before stopping at Dundore we did check out another spot that when we walked in no one even greeted us, so we walked out but dundore & Heister KNOWS how to treat people. Definitely will be going back! Wish I caught his name…. But for now I’ll just call him the man

Amazing service and high quality meats; along with healthy and organic choices. Their food is really good too! Always an amazing selection. One of my local favorites!

Someone brought a tray of sandwiches to the holiday party. Hands down the BEST roast beef sandwich I've ever had in my life!

This establishment really doesn't need my review, they are the premier butcher shop in Berks County after all. That being said, I just had to comment for those who have never visited this fine establishment. In short, where every other vendor said "no can do", D&H said "Yes". What was the question? I need the finest Standing Rib Roast money can buy with only 5 days from Christmas, can you help? They did.
