I’ve been paying for the Family Plan for over a month, however the plan is still not reflected in my account! I still have the free plan. There’s no way to contact anyone, and when I finally found a way to submit a ticket, I was added to someone else’s family plan! I’m paying for it, and yet I’m not able to add any family member to my plan because I was added to someone else’s plan, I don’t even know who that person is.

Was in Pittsburgh yesterday and drove by their headquarters. Looks like a cool building. Thought it would have been "Duolingo Green" though. If you are hiring/looking to add new languages, I know someone that speaks 3 languages that are not on your app and they can help out.

One of the best apps that I enjoy and I learn my favorite language, my dream is to learn to speak fluent English and get to know the united states.

The latest update ruined this app for me. A once enjoyable language playground turned into my bad grade 8 French teacher. Sometimes I wouldn't have the energy to make progress on a skill like numbers and the freedom to choose another topic is what made Duolingo so useful.  There are also 200 units in French and the line is so long it's impossible to get a sense of your progress. Not knowing what the app is going to feed you that day is extremely bewildering and demotivating.

The latest update turned a five star app into a one star app. It's completely unusable now for folks who are not children or total beginners. There has been no company response to the tens of thousands of customers protesting the changes. That alone is enough to make me think it's time to move on to a different language learning app.

Same as others. No explanation of errors. (bad learning process). Software bugs that are obstacles in advancing. As you learn, there is more than one way to say same sentence, that software does not recognize. Not good for conversational language. WORST OF ALL is impossible to contact company. Two stars because I did learn some basic words.

Well developed app. I truly like using it. However, once you become a paid member everything goes downhill from there. I signed up the family plan hoping to be able to share this great app with my family and friends. But when my partner pressed on my invitation link, nothing happened. We’ve sent Duolingo emails reporting this issue but we got ignored. We called them but the recording says please email them. DOESNT THIS SOUND LIKE A FRAUD TO YOU? I’m now stuck and don’t know how I can get my money back.

Duolingo now sucks. Freezes in iPad, Japanese fake voices are horrible and it requires kana/kanji text input as the only way for answering questions. The user experience has been destroyed, and thousands of users are disappointed and get no customer service. Refunds should be given to subscription users for failed service. Avarice is their new game.
