Dutch-Way Family Restaurant - Gap

Wonderful friendly place. Wish we had one in South Jersey! Home made just like Sunday at grandmoms. Clean, good price, fresh ingredients. Who could ask for more? I also visited their adjoining store and bought some beautiful mums and home baked desserts. I ALWAYS stop when I pass through. Don't ever change.

Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, awesome food that's reasonably priced, very clean and a comfortable setting. Stopped here for an early morning breakfast while on a Harley road trip and everything was perfect. Even got to have some potato cakes and scrapple, which you don't see very often in my neck of the woods, but I grew up on as a kid. Highly recommended and will definitely stop by again, if I'm in the area.

Because of covid they are no longer doing the all you can eat! Which is quite disappointing because that's why we would stop for to enjoy a variety of things! But what we did order was good.

The food took a bit more time to come out than you would expect, especially since it was not busy at all. However, the food was excellent and the burgers massive. Our waitress was great and stayed on top if refilling drinks.

Not bad food or service but the ham loaf was DISGUSTING. I was LITERALLY SICK for, not one, not two, but 3 days. If I ever eat there again, YOU CAN BET I WON'T EAT THAT HAM LOAF.

Bought something that said it was local but when you turn it over it is from Guatemala to me that's false advertisement very very disappointed and very up set they do that this time of yr I only buy local produce so make sure when u buy something look on the back to see where it is from

Delicious food. Awesome place and highly highly recommend this place. A favorite of ours when going to the quilt and fabric stores

They stopped serving buffet after the pandemic and the food was so so. Grilled fish was 2 pieces of microwave frozen fish. Will not go there again. 2 stars were for the service and the wait staffs.

We had a very nice light dinner and it was just the best meal. Our waitress was Sharon and she was marvelous. So attentive and cheerful. Greeted everyone with a smile and made us feel so very welcome. We will return.

We were visiting Lancaster and were looking for a Dutch dinner in the late hour. Most such places close at 6 or 7 pm but this appeared to stay open till 9 pm. That Google piece of info turned out to be incorrect - they close at 8 pm. We came at 7: 53 and they still let us in. We didn't finish until 8: 30 so that was very appreciated. My only wish is that their name were sounding less Dutch.:) The cuisine is fairly typical to any American family restaurant. Still delicious and inexpensive, and the service was courteous.

Very long wait to get in. Then find many many open tables when we got seated. Waited longer to get drink order and meal order. Then seemed to be forever to get our meal. I think I'm done going here. Last two visits were not as expected, nor experienced in the past. Not sure I'll be back.

Even without the hot buffet, this place is still awesome. Only two things I would love to see them add: fried pickles and beer-battered zucchini. The popcorn shrimp is a huge favorite as is the Chicken Ranch Melt.

Loved the cold salad bar. Was disappointed that dessert bar, hot bar and ice cream/yogurt weren't available. Very enjoyable otherwise.

The prepared Easter meals were quite good. However, I just spoke to an employee in the produce department concerning the fact that I was not given a fruit tray that was part of my order. Upon calling to discuss my options for a refund, I was greeted with an extremely impolite response filled with down-talking and disrespect. How is it my fault that I was not given an item? Who knows. Apparently I am supposed to pick up a 4 day old platter.

I used to really like this restaurant. Food was good and people were friendly and caring. I just walked out, because due to COVID they can’t operate at full capacity, I get that. However not one waiting for tables is wearing a mask, as per the mandate, the ‘hostess’ kept taking hers down to talk to someone. If they care so little about a health regulation this simple, how clean is the kitchen? I get it, no one likes masks, I don’t either. However all the science shows they work, and not enforcing it, shows how little they actually care.

Good old grocery store with good old fashioned values and courtesy that you hardly get anymore. Says a whole about the management and organization.

They always have a good deal on their meats and deli items.
Do however, find most other items to be slightly more than other grocery stores.
Good variety of fresh baked goods.
The diner is a Nice place to get a quick bite or two.
Restaurant is great. Love the buffet!
