D.W. Dawgs, East Stroudsburg PA

I almost didn't wait to get home to leave a review. We got the chopped cheese and a BEC. The chopped cheese was top teir. I almost regretted getting BEC untill I bit into it. Also fantastic. The bacon was cooked to a science. This man really puts his heart into his food. 10/10

We decided to try DW Dawgs for the first time this past Friday. We got chili dogs topped with sauerkraut & cheese and some onion rings. Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC the chili was outrageously delicious very impressed by the quality of the bun it did not get soggy at all with all the toppings. The owner was also very friendly. Definitely will be back for more!

Stopped in today. Had there hotdog combo. The hotdogs tasted like the hotdogs you get from the cart. Always loved my hotdogs that way. The owner Jermane (hope I spelled it right) was fantastic. We were talking for almost 30 minutes about anything. We talked like we known each other our whole lives. The dining area was very clean. I will definitely go back. Again the owner has a big heart. I wish him the best.

My wife and I are always searching for a good dog. I have to say, DW’s is the best dog ever! And EXCELLENT fries! The owner DeeDub is a wonderful person and I’m glad to give him our business.

My friend and I dined there for the first time… happy to support a Black-owned business… The owner/chef was extremely personable, friendly, wonderfully gracious and helpful. Even though it was close to closing time after a very busy day, he was still very warm & welcoming. The wait wasn’t long at all even though it was just him & everything we had was delicious! I don’t usually eat hotdogs but his were superb! The next time we vacation in the Poconos, we will definitely swing by D. W. Dawgs a few times! Congratulations with your new spot! Ok, so here is a local place known for hot dogs, so of course we had to stop in… (I love a great hot dog) Upon entering we were greeted by the owner, Jermaine. We told him we came from out side of Philadelphia to try his place. He said for the chopped cheese? !? As I am 45 years young, I have never heard of such a thing. So now my interest is piqued
Well, my palate was aroused by the immense flavor of this unique, monstrous, sandwich. Served on a fresh toasted roll, with fresh, sautéed peppers and onions, chopped hamburger, and melted cheese! (my husband even enjoyed the chopped cheese, and doesn’t like peppers) when it’s good, Its goodThe chili cheese dog was just as satisfying, perfect amount of cheese, raw onion, and the sauce, We had a lengthy conversation with the owner and his brother, Elliot. Very personable business owner If ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop in and support a small business

Make this a stop of you're driving through. The food was stellar and the owner is super friendly. Just like visiting grandma's house, bring an appetite because you won't leave hungry

Literally best cheesesteak and cheese Fry's in East Stroudsburg. So much flavor 5 star all day. My new go to spot!

A sweet find with yummy food. Good vibe, like the kind when you dance in your chair! Awesome! So glad we stopped!

7/27/23. First stop was in P. A was to D. W Dawg
First I would like to say, I undoubtedly admire the atmosphere.
My daughters and I ordered 4 Chop cheese. It was nothing less than amazing. Everything was fresh, even the bread. And you know we love us some good bread. My daughters literally ate part of the sandwich and was full then had the other part later on in the day. So portion was great.
7/28/22. Today went to D. W Dawg to get my girls and I something to eat. The girls raved about wanting a bacon, egg and cheese by DW since he in from NYC as well. I have to say, they were very satisfied and impressed. Fluffy eggs and crispy bacon! I got some honey bbq wings. I ate them on the drive back to my hotel lol. The smell consumed my car. Wings were juicy af and the sauce was on point.
I am very satisfied with the atmosphere, the delicious food, customer service and reasonable prices.
Also, the chocolate bald head gentleman flexing while cooking the food with that smile, was a great appetizer.

First off this is definitely a place of good eats. Brought the fam in for some dawgs and cheese fries, when the kids end up wearing the food from stuffing their face, you know it's good. The chopped cheese was off the hook. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back and try the cheese steak.

My husband and I came in while you were 30 minutes prior to closing. Thank you for the great hot dogs and chopped cheese sandwich. They were hot, fresh and delicious.
