East Shore Area Library reviews
15The most beautiful energetic environment to dwell in for hours or minutes, to have artistic events, read, write, study, print, copy, check books in or out for both children and adults it's tons to do here. This library is full of friendly staff members and is a phenomenal asset in one of our Dauphin County Capital City of PA communities. I highly recommend!
Great service and nice staff but several times I have come here I spent the entire time trying to get my laptop to connect. The tab for the "accept terms" for the wifi never showed up.
My family and I really enjoy going to this library. There are a ton of great resources for the community. The front desk staff does an awesome job with answering questions and assisting us. I have met with Maria the manager, Jordan, and Coralee and they’ve been a tremendous help with getting us set up for our meetings in the meeting room on the first floor of the library. This is an all around terrific environment and I can’t recommend it enough.
I love this library, it is one, if not the best place for me to go and have some me time which is not very usual for a mom. The staff is very helpful and polite, they have good selection of books, the place is always clean and properly roganized, and my daughter loves the kids area; she really enjoys when I take her there. I just wish they could open for a longer time during the weekends, so I can spend more time there.
Went to the Book Sale. So many great titles to chose from. All was organized to easily find your favorites. Great fundraiser.
There's a bit of construction going on. Check with the front desk if you have questions. I had no trouble finding what I came for and checking out was a breeze. They're also doing the annual address check so make sure you get in there and update your address!
My home away from home. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. One of their best and brightest, Abby, left to move to Massachusetts.
I absolutely love this library, the staff is very helpful great selection of foreign films which I am a fan of.
The librarian who set me up with my new library card was very efficient. Lots of books and the prices are MUCH better than Barnes & Noble. Or, any book store really!
Overall a good experience, computers need a lot of improvement, monitors need to be updated with larger screen size and ability to adjust heights.
There is a lot if bias with the personnel. They frequently call people by what their facial features and characteristics are associating them with racial backgrounds. A girl from Chile was called Mexican when she is not!
Going to the library is such an underrated experience and promotes just all good things. My local library here is giving out free book markers with an herb seed attached to it that you can plant and grow. Just fun clean stuff
Very professional people and friendly.
I really enjoy visiting East Shore Library.
Very clean and awesome place.
I love going to the library from the variety of books and video games as well as other things and they’re very helpful and kind
Wonderful service, wonderful people: a real treasure for residents in the area.
One example: I had left smth there and by the time had realized it, didn't have the chance to go back that day to retrieve it. The next morn, the library gave me a call that the item is safe and sound easing my worried mind.
