Very Good Service. Recently switched to them for Retail Filling Station, and have always been very happy

I have been using Eastern Propane for 10+ years. Great service, polite customer service and always professional. They have been so helpful with issues that have come up. I shopped pricing but it was worth a little more to stay with a honest company one that I felt comfortable with.

I dont know why anyone would give these guys a low rating.we've been with them for 5 years and they've gone out of their way for us in numerous ways. Whether it be with payment plans for past due bills or working us onto their route the same day when we've unexpectedly used too much propane and run out. They always come through. I think they're great.

Arrogant, greedy and dishonest! Customer Service is providing incorrect information, blatantly dishonest to their customers. After I told them to cease and desist on delivery they delivered another 186 gallons of oil. They are forcing their customers to upgrade their vent pipe at cost to the customer. After speaking to the DEP, this is not a regulation in the state of PA. This is a CYA on Eastern’s behalf and passing the liability and cost onto the customer. Their prices are $. 50 more a gallon than several of their competitors. I stayed loyal for 14 years because Lessig Oil was a wonderful family company to deal with. Eastern Propane is nothing but arrogant and greedy and have done nothing to resolve the customer service issues. I told him to come get their oil and I have canceled service with them!

Told us we would get money for the left over lp in our tanks. Never got a refund but got a bill for tank removal. How companies like this stay in business is incredible. But the rating shows everything. They aren't getting a dime. Nice try though.

No customer service. I should have read the reviews before going with Eastern Propane. I got a proposal and was told I would only be charged for parts. I received an itemized bill that included the labor. I questioned it and was told it would be adjusted. When I got the updated bill it was for $100 despite seeing that the parts were roughly $35. When I questioned this I was told the proposal was for $100 and that I signed agreeing to pay that. What? ! I have a very different definition of “proposal” and I guarantee if the parts went over the proposal I would have been charged more. I was told I received the itemized invoice “by mistake”, what a deceitful business practice! They did agree to bill me for just the parts, how nice of them since that’s what I was told I would only be billed for in the first place! This “mistake” took a bit to sort out on the billing end, I never got an up to date bill so I figured out what I owed and sent it in, it was pointed out that I missed the charge for the actual propane so I sent that in, not before they sent me to collections though! I was an engaged customer, sending payments in to get our account up to date all because of a “mistake” they made and they sent me to collections! Poor customer service, we terminated our account and will be going with another local company. When I told them we wanted to terminate there was no apology or attempt to keep us as a customer.

Been with Lessig for about 40yrs. Now that Eastern Propane took over, they let my oil tank go down to 1/4 tank.
They are charging much more then others per gal.and on top of that they started charging $11.36 more for what they call it Hazmat training and handling which others aren't. They will be adding this to every delivery you get. GREED GREED
No longer am I Lessig, Eastern Propane customer.
Oh ya, the lady I talked to couldn't even say thanks for being a long time customer and sorry to see you leave. GREED

These guys are on the ball, they have come either the same or next day from when I have called for a fill up. With Lessig I actually ran out because they took so long, couldn't stand them.

It was my own fault but I ran out of propane during the coldest week of the year. I called Eastern as they are my regular delivery company. I pleaded with them. They told me they didn't know when they could come out. Not today or tomorrow, maybe next week. It's 5 degrees and I have small children. I called 30 other companies in the area all of which were kinder and more sympathetic than my own company. I finally found someone willing to help me - AmeriGas in Chester. Lesson learned - they don't care about my family just my money. Well they won't be getting that money anymore.

We were customers with Lessing for years and as soon as they became Eastern customer service went down the drain. We've cancelled service and have gone with another local company.

We replaced our electric range with a gas range, so we needed a propane line installed. We already have a propane tank which is used for our gas fireplace. First, Lessig examined our current system and drew up a plan as to how a line could be run to the kitchen and required materials. Once we had a delivery date set for the range, we made an appointment for Lessig to arrive the next day to make the connection and convert the range for propane use.

Two employees from Lessig arrived (on schedule) to install the propane line. Much of the work took place in our tight crawlspace (not a pleasant experience I'm sure). They had to precisely measure to drill a hole in the kitchen floor between two outlets and a joist. They also had to drill a hole at just the right spot in the crawl space wall in order to connect to the existing propane line outside.

After connecting everything, they checked for leaks and also examined the fireplace to make sure everything was working properly. They then showed us how to operate the stove and oven with instructions to run it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes to burn off any residue from the manufacturing and shipping process.

I didn't realize how much work it would take, but they got it done and the two men certainly knew what they were doing. We're very satisfied and now enjoying our new propane range.
