Econo Lodge, Meadville PA

First of all, the lobby is disgusting, trash on the floor. Stuff piled up in the corner of the office for the public to see only letting us know the ride we are in for. Bathroom gross, hair on the floor, blow dryer cord cut. Bed skirt soiled with what appears to be throw up. The doors were slammed all night long from a workers child going in and out. Got zero sleep and we are traveling 9 hours today. Update your rooms, clean the rooms, and provide better service for your customers. RESPECT being one thing.

Nice desk clerk. Clean, heat worked, TV, fridge. Nice tub/shower with plenty of room andplenty of hot water. All the basics. Ran us a little under $85 with taxes. No bedbugs, but had a few ladybug visitors (as is to be expected in the winter), which didn't bother us one bit. Continental breakfast was stale bread, broken juice machine, passable coffee, packet oatmeal and packet cereal. Will come again, but will bring our own breakfast.

The absolute worst hotel! Staff was extremely rude and would not let me book another night for my friend who is homeless when there were rooms available! The free breakfast was like eating rubber and the cereal was stale!

The lobby was dirty, staff was rude cause we got there at 2: 30 and check in is at 3, then went up to our room which was also VERY dirty and we found bedbugs, WE WERE GONE!

I have been a longtime Choice Hotels member and this is the first time that I've ever been compelled to write a negative review. This is also the first time that I've checked into a hotel only to check right out again. We booked two non-smoking rooms. The rooms were hardly even made up and both reeked of cigarette smoke even though we had requested non smoking rooms. The drain on one shower was chipped out around the drain, the shower floor was dirty and both rooms were poorly maintained and nasty. I don't know how Choice Hotels can allow such a poorly maintained and dirty property to be a part of their system. Sorry to say it, but I'd definitely give this one a pass and keep looking.

We were there 3 hours and had to leave our bed was infested with bed bugs will never use that motel again

It's a cheap hotel. What can I say. I've had better free breakfasts. Much better. The people seemed nice. Could use some modernization and fixing up. Just off I79 makes it convenient.if I needed to, if stay there again but I'd look for other options first. I've certainly stayed in worse.

Room size is ok for one person that I used. The bathtub was an odd triangle shape, Could not sit in and relax. I put the "do not disturb" placard in the door key slot and when I came back at end of the day on one occasion, it was back on the inside of the door and the bathroom had been cleaned. So someone had come in.

When checking in Kathy working front desk along with GM. I was booking my stay on line for more points. She asked me if I ever stayed at an Econo Lodge I said yes I'm a diamond member, she rolls her eyes. I stepped back letting another man check in. Gm was checking another man in. She turns to him and says shut up I can't her him. Yes shut up. I was checking in with gm and ask if I could get my copy of paperwork. She asks me you mean this, gm says his receipt and she says loudly you don't have to be rude about it. This behavior in front of 3 guests is wrong.

I stayed there one night and got bitten by bed bugs never will I stay there againe I was in room 123 they should give me my money back

Cheaper than the other hotels in the area but you get what you pay for. Stale smoke smell that does leave your person when you leave the hotel. The entire hotel could use a good cleaning. Beds are very uncomfortable but after switching rooms the A/C is cold, so there go a win.

Hotel needs updated. Needs maintenance! A/C ‘s not working Ice machine not working, lots of lights not working. And they need a cleaning staff. One was off so we had to clean our own rooms! Please did not write a general reply. Fix the problems.

Took a while to check in because the front desk said room was marked as dirty. I don't know what we waited for, because it was the dirtiest room I've stayed in.

First room (229) had no TV remote and bathroom light didn't work. Was then placed in room 127. Toilet was very rust stained and ran intermittently, towel rack was falling off the wall, headboard light flickered on and off, smoke detector missing the battery, hallway carpet very stained and signs of a water leak in the hallway ceiling

The lady at the desk was the most rudest most ignorant person soon as my friend walked in she refused to rent her a room an lied bout open rooms we rr reserved a room an she said I'm canceling it.had no reason to.do that.cus she was to worried bout talking yo her fried. I will never recommend this place to anyone

The entire place smelled of smoke and looked rundown and was very dirty. The worst part was the dirty toilet which obviously had not been cleaned since the previous guests were in the room. Very gross and we probably should have asked for a refund and left but we were exhausted from a long day of traveling late into the night.

Called the lady at the front desk about me and my girls intimate night. She told me that she was reporting me. So now I have to clean up the remains myself

They first put us in a room that hadn't been cleaned and there wasn't any towels. Then they didn't do anything when informed someone was smoking pot in the building knowing we had our 2 kids with us. Overall I was disappointed and I wouldn't recommend staying at this place.

Tv didnt work, lights were flickering, window was not child safety, breakfast cereal only, also no vending machine, luckily gas station couple building down the road for a soda and water

Great room for the price, guy at the front desk was awesome, very friendly, and helpful.close to town, right off the highway! Smaller room but had everything you needed
