7 Very poorly clean hotel for a GOLD customer at choice hotel
I can't understand why you would send customers to a hotel like that.
Never again choose an econo lodge with choice hotel
Horrible place. Nobody staffing the office - had to knock on a disabled person's door just to check in and out and to get ice. A/C unit was pulled out from the wall leaving a gap between the outside and the room and there was no smoke detector. Towels did not look clean and maintenance guy in the morning said the washing machine was broken. Several residents without cars apparently live there full time. Seemed like a welfare hotel. And, the kicker, when we checked in there was feces on the toilet seat which we needed to clean with a washcloth before using!
My wife was here a year ago with someone else for an intimate encounter. I wouldn't recommend either
We stayed only for one night, and customer service was great and very polite. Highly recommend!
Was two adults, child, and dog staying here. There was a slight mishap with the gentleman out front on arrival. All of the roads/ lots to their parking lot are coned off and we were having a hard time figuring out how to get in. We seen a yard/ dirt area with tracks through it along the roadway and assumed it was the way people were going in. We were very wrong, unfortunately. And the gentleman came out -before we were even parked- very rudely saying "now you can find a rake and fix my yard! ". However, the lady at the front desk was pleasant about the situation and apologized on behalf of the gentleman who was her son. We appreciated this. In regards to the room, it was pleasant enough. No coffee pot. It wasn't filthy and the beds were clean. Although the beds were hard as a rock and killed my back, but that's a preference based opinion. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries. It didn't stink or anything like that. My only complaint is that the refrigerator was VERY loud and woke me up every time it kicked on. We had my 9mo large breed dog with us. She gets excited and happy barks at people and no one complained or seemed too put off by her which by far makes up for the hard bed and loud fridge. If we're ever in the area again we'd probably stay here again.
PSA: If you have a dog that needs grass to potty, you'll have to walk a ways because there's really no grassy areas to potty. We had to use a leafy wooded area across the street from the econo.
Sad experience. I was asked at sign in if needed a microwave - yes! Thought that was clear when first booked. Was reassigned to a room with one but a smoking room which I didn't want but that was all that was available. Couldn't figure out how to find channels on the TV. Management said they had no information either, could not help. Bathroom disgusting. A piece of plaster in the bathtub clearly fallen from a wet spot on the ceiling (I was on the 1st floor). What can I say, it was quiet and I slept well but did not bath! Terrible parking situation when trying to sort a spot while hauling a travel trailer. Morning coffee - hah. Even at 7am the office/breakfast area was locked! Finally at 8am got my coffee. Forget the 'breakfast' offerings unless you like cellophane wrapped muffins or whatever they were.
I give a couple of stars simply because it was quiet, the bed clean and slept well.
