Econo Lodge Scranton near Montage Mountain

We could not even stay it was so gross, the smell, was horrific, trash of anything and everything was in the hallways not even in trash bags, tons of hair in the showers, hair in the bed microwave didn't work fridge didn't work. Tried for another room and it was worse off than the first. There is a sign hanging on their check-in window that you have 15 minutes to decide if you want to stay or leave, that was our heads up to check and then we left. So everyone's reviews on here PLEASE BELIEVE! They are not lying it is all truth!

Checked in and immediately left. The room was disgusting. Floors were sticky, mold in bathroom, flooring separating and soft spots underneath, bed was gross and had food under matress (we checked for bugs since it was so gross) whole place smelled awful.

Regard my situation I was able to book a room for 1 night. But $80 for a room with holes in the blanket? Bed sheets not properly washed? Dusty cabinets, spider webs, fruit flies around? , dirty stairways, rude customer service from receptionists - don’t waste your time here they act like their top notch

DON'T DO IT! The room was filthy, the floor sticky and uneven, the bathroom full of mold. The fire alarm went off randomly during the night- three times! The doors were not locked, so anyone can enter the hotel. Please save yourself a horrible experience and spend the ~$50 for a different hotel.

First they couldn't find my paid reservation. The room wasn't clean they're was mold on the shower curtain.

Waited 25 minutes for manager to show up to get our key just for us to get to the room and find that it smells like weed. The floor was sticky and the horrible blanket they give you has cigarette burns in it with questionable stains. Front office smells and it’s just dingy and dark

This place was a complete dump nothing like the photos it was dirty as all hell it smelt soon as u came in the door bed fittings had cigarette burns in them and the management has no manors what so ever

Excellent workers.
Very thoughtful individuals that clean and repair the rooms on the spot in the mornings.
The men at the front desk are helpful and kind also.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Intravenous drug users all over the place. Didn't know when I booked the hotel. You cannot even be in the parking lot without being harassed. Mohammad at the front desk has 0 customer service skills and is more concerned about keeping his drug users around than paying customers. I will never stay at another Econo Lodge ever again. Lesson learned.

Dirty, smelly, sticky floors, cracking paint (*probably* with lead in it), leaky faucets with water that tastes like Flint, TV's full of static, electric outlets by the bed that fit a USB cord don't have any power so you can't charge your phone (and forget about using it as an alarm clock, which the room also doesn't have), and they tell you to call Domino's for room service. I left a day early rather than spend another night here.

Can't give any stars, dirty smelly, plugs in bathroom didn't work. This place is a fire hazard. Needs to be shut down. Dirty dirty dirty.

Doesn't look anything like the photos online, there was no pool, and their rooms weren't clean. We found a dead beetle on the floor. The only good thing was the shower pressure!

So we booked this hotel as we are traveling to see a concert. The room along with the bed sheets were dirty. Half of the light switches in the room barely worked. The heat lamp in the bathroom was barley attached. The room smelled bad. The mini fridge was dirty. And when we told the front desk they could care less. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Everything was broken.like everything. Price is right for a bed. That’s it. In need of major renovation from top to bottom

Yea if i could go into the negative 5 stars I would. This place should be closed down and demolished. Room dont look like in the photos. Our first room the ac was frozen and broken the floors felt like your going to go through them. The bathroom was nasty beds were messed up they gave you old nasty pillows in new pillow cases. The secound room when they transfer us to it was no better. The ac unit has tape around it to keep it togather. There is daylight coming from the seal of the window. The nozel for the bath poped off when i tried to use the shower. So had to take a bath. The rooms and hallway smelled of mold badly. The dresser are falling apart when we touch them. The people that runs this place doesnt care about you they just want your money. Plus they talk about you in front of you like your not even there. So impart do not pay any money for the rooms look somwhere else. Plus corporate is going to be hearing from us and inspection for health people will hear from us.

The room was not nice. The towel had holes in it. The bedspread had holes burned in it. Most of the times the door wouldn't close because the jam was screwed up. I would have to slam the door several times to get it to close. The floor was vinyl and cold and felt wet. The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The location was less than 1 mi from the off-site parking for the Peach festival which is why I was there.

I don’t want to be mean, just honest. Steer clear of this hotel if you are looking for a clean, safe place to stay. At night, very dark and not safe. We even passed the entrance because it’s not lit. Upon entering, the smell hits you, the rooms are grungy and the hallways wreak of smoke and other foul smells. Small groups loiter in the dark parking lot. The pictures of this hotel are deceiving, wished we had read reviews before trying to stay here. Our car was a better choice to sleep in then this hotel. Hopefully this info helps save someone else from going through this horrible experience.

This place looks like a horror house, smells like smoke everywhere, the sheets had holes and the bed has bedbugs.
