Eden Vegan Cafe, Scranton PA

Absolutely a gem of a restaurant. I have been coming here for what feel like forever now. Back when I became vegan I was only about 10 years old. This was the only vegan restaurant around. I was always so excited to be able to go. Stopped in today for the first time in a while. Felt like going back in time, same welcoming calm environment. I got the chocolate strawberry smoothie. It was a bit too sweet and thick for my liking. Though I did finish the whole thing lol! I also got a carrot cupcake as well as a chocolate cookie. I love that they carry vegan treats there! The staff is friendly and inviting. I look forward to their expansion of foods. Yummy yum!

I've been here a few times since moving to the area and it an absolute gem! The menu is superb and I enjoy seeing what creative specials they put together each time I visit. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The best part is I'm a long time vegan so I appreciate access to delicious vegan meals I don't have to prepare myself and can trust.
Oh and don't forget the cannolis! Phenomenal!

When we would visit my bf's Nan, we would always make sure to stop at this vegan spot. They're amazing! The food, the people. Can't wait to go back!

Love Eden! Friendly service, great food! Interesting and extensive menu of old and new favorites. Love the Reuben Sandwich and Smashed Potatoes but have to say honestly that everything I have tried their is great. A wonderful place for non-vegans to sample vegan fare!

Those at the counter are always so nice and sweet when I stop in for a meal or sweet treat:)

We called them at 715 pm and asked to order for a party of 5 so that we could pickup by 740 pm since the person on the phone said they wouldn't take our order for dine in at 740 pm. However, we were refused service and flat out told that our order will not be taken even for pickup.
Not sure why they say their closing time is 8 pm if they are closing out sooner for all practical purposes. Clearly the manager of the restaurant doesnt want business to come here. The positive reviews are likely fake.

Great, friendly service. Delicious, flavorful, and unique dishes. I’d describe the food as veganized American cuisine. Highly recommend if you’re looking for mock-meat dishes.

Had the steak and cheese, chicken sandwich, and pizza (as well as some deserts) and all were excellent!

This place was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Staff was super friendly, helpful and down to earth. I've been a vegan for almost 6 years now and this was by far the best vegan sandwich and pizza I've ever had! I tried the Buffalo chicken pizza and the Reuben. Got a tropical fruit smoothie too that was amazing! 10 out of 10 for this place! Strongly recommend!

Visited on 8/20/2022. Found it through Happy Cow as part of a visit to Steamtown/Trolley museum. Had the “Salmon” Pear and Avocado wrap, mashed potato side (added a bit of salt) and a smoothie. All really good!

I'm currently dairy free for my CMPI baby and I MISS CHEESE. Ate here for dinner and my cravings were satisfied. Everything we got was fantastic.

I cannot say that was anywhere near good. I was in the area for an appointment, I usually hit umami gorilla since it’s closer but they weren’t open today. So I went out of my way and tried this place hoping it would be as good as it’s chalked up to be. But it absolutely was not worth it. I’d kill for a refund but I know that’s not going to happen. My sub was falling apart and it was really soggy. The potatoes were not worth it. I didn’t want to finish any of it but it’s 3pm and I haven’t had anything yet today, so I was hoping for the best but got the worst.

I’m new to a plant-based diet, due to health reasons. I got the Roste Perez sandwich which was nicely spicy ~ though I do wish a whole wheat roll was an option. The young lady working was so nice, and very helpful ~ patiently answering my ‘ new guy ‘ questions about veganism.

A nice little place that's 100% vegan:) staff was very friendly and a lot of tasty options on the menu will definitely be returning

It's an okay place to eat for a quick vegan meal, but most of the things on the menu are store bought then marked up. Definitely tasty, but not so great if you're looking for whole food place based options instead of processed stuff.

Both locations have a tremendous staff and excellent food. So freaking friendly you'd think they were up to something but they're all just genuinely kind people that love what they do. And if you're lucky, you'll catch the Buffalo Chicken Stromboli on special!

Absolutely amazing. I rave about this place! Comfort food is the best way to classify their menu. I get to indulge every time I’m in the scranton area. I always get their buffalo seitan pizza, their buffalo wings and the bread sticks and it never disappoints. The staff is super friendly, Christian is a saint, and the atmosphere is so nice. You’re doing amazing things for the vegan/ plant based community. I know if I lived closer I’d probably be getting food every day, I’d probably go broke if we’re being honest LOL. Highly recommend:)

I really enjoyed the wrap I got. I usually don't wraps because they're often soft and the vegetables inside aren't fresh enough to not need more dressing, but the one from Eden Vegan Cafe was super fresh and flavorful. Also their cookies are delicious.

The only thing that confused me was that their menu was of meat dishes instead of whatever they were actually serving. I ordered the wrap I did because I knew what it was.

Rude Staff, frozen bagged vegetables from Walmart prepared in a microwave, terrible pizza crust, overall the menu is overpriced processed junk food. Eating here made me feel sick and reduced my energy. I had lethargy for rest of the day

Really upset about the star rating they deserve so much more. And the food
Is probably better than HEAVEN its self.
