An amazing apartment complex community! Great office management staff, very helpful with all of your needs and very quick, efficient communication.

My unit was beautiful, high-quality utilities and amenities and beautiful light fixtures. The closets were extremely spacious and well designed.

Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The soundproofing effect of this apartment is very poor. If you don't want to be disturbed by the sound of walking, music, rhythm and all noise, then please don't choose this apartment. Otherwise, you will be disturbed by all the noise coming from the property and you will be unable to sleep and live. The most important thing is that when you complain about the noise to the management, they do not take action and ask you to move out if you can't stand the noise instead of asking to make noise.people move away. Moreover, the management of this community is very poor, and express delivery and takeaway items are often lost. Finally there were frequent problems with the facilities so you had to always find someone to fix them. All in all this is the worst apartment I have ever stayed in.

Emily and Molly were a pleasure to work with during my apartment search. Very responsive and accommodating. Of all the apartment communities in the Strip, my family and I loved this complex the most (great amenities). The closet space is amazing! I also loved that the apartment is close to the Strip Terminal with various workout class options.

I’m really impressed at how nice these apartments are! The neighborhood is clean and safe. The pool is beautiful! The gym is well kept and easy to access. It’s really a perfect place to live! I would highly recommend.

I do not often read or make reviews like this one. However, I am a burn survivor and noticed a review given by a person who does NOT live at the Edge, but apparently in an adjacent building. She gave a very negative review complaining about fire alarms going off "constantly", which disturbed her and her dogs. I've never heard the alarms go off in this building and I almost find that "alarming"! So I thank her for letting me know that yes, the system does what it is supposed to do. By the way, fire truck sirens are also extremely loud. I hope I do not need to explain why loud alarms and sirens are an absolute necessity. I also called the fire department and asked if The Edge had an inordinate number of false alarms. They said it did not. We all have a right to express our opinion, but not to make false statements about alarms going off constantly. Incorrect statements have the potential to negatively affect a person or establishment and that is unfair. When I was looking for my apartment and toured The Edge, I immediately noted that it has 100% detection and suppression systems throughout the building to detect and suppress fires. This gives me confidence that I will not be burned again. For me, any inconvenience caused by alarms sounding is well worth it, because I do not want to die in a fire. Thank goodness the bells ring!

I recently moved here. I find the building to be very nice and comfortable. The location is unbeatable, probably the best located building in Pittsburgh alongside The District. There’s a large variety of floor plans (more than The District - I think they have them beat there) and the floor plan I chose is nice and roomy with a balcony. The common areas are nice and I’m looking forward to using the pool in the summer. Emily at the leasing was phenomenal in helping me find the right unit to rent. I can’t thank her enough for how helpful and understanding she was with my back and forth regarding which unit to rent. Theresa and Molly in the management office have also been super helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately I am having some noise issues in my apartment with pounding coming from the upstairs floor. It’s still early to say whether this will remain a problem although it is very disruptive as it stands and casts some doubt on whatever noise dampening they might put in place. Will update my review once I know how it will play out.

The management is not transparent or honest with the residents! Instead of apologizing for making us park on a different floor for almost 2 months without ANY work done, (just apologize for the inconvenience and say the engineer did not come aa expected, what's wrong with being honest?), you keep saying you've been working in the area "intermittently. " We are not stupid and should not be treated that way. It is insulting. The hallways are dirty EXCEPT for the 1st floor. Does the management know they only vacuum or sweep the 1st floor regularly? Hire more maintenance, they are dying being so busy bc you are short staffed!

I live next door to the edge at the and they are CONSTANTLY having fire alarms go off. I don’t even live there and I have to deal with the loud blaring noise early morning and late night. Within the past week I had to listen to a fire alarm go off for 20-35 min after 8pm, today they woke me up and were going off for 5 minutes. This building is dog friendly and my pups ears are super sensitive so whenever the alarms go off my pup won’t stop barking until they turn it off. The edge is also dog friendly and I feel terrible for all of the fur babies that have to endure that terrible noise. I don’t recommended moving there until they figure out this problem.

Emily in the leasing office was a FANTASTIC help in getting us an amazing apartment and getting us signed in less than a day! We are so excited for our new home and are looking forward to living at Edge 1909 - right on the water and in the heart of the Strip District.

Edge 1909 is a perfect place to live and call home. There is a variety of floor plans to choose from, the building is very well kept, and the amenities are amazing (pool, gym, lounge areas, outdoor space, and landscape) which complement the already great location. The Staff is super friendly/helpful and go beyond traditional means to make sure its residents have a sense of community living here. There are monthly events and gatherings. The strip has been revitalized with the arrival of Edge 1909 and the Terminal across the street is becoming a perfect place to hangout, shop, eat and drink with the additions of Aslin Beer, Puttshack, City winery, and more. While new establishments are being added, the strip still holds it's history and traditions with the likes of Wholey's, Primantis, Peppi's, Mancini's, Penn Mac, La Prima, Harp and fiddle, etc. It's a great time for anyone - young adults and families alike - to be living on the strip and at Edge 1909. The Riverwalk right behind the building is great for walks, running, cycling and taking your puppy on extending walks all the way to downtown or the North shore, stadiums, etc. It's very lovely during spring, summer, and fall. In summary, there is no other place that I would rather live in Pittsburgh at this moment. Thank you to all the staff members that make Edge 1909 a great community to be part of!

After several tours of other apartment buildings being unorganised and unhelpful, we were delighted by Edge 1909. Sheenum was an absolute star and couldn't have been more helpful, and the apartment is gorgeous! So glad we found them.
Amenities are clean and modern and has everything you need. I'm looking forward to the pools when they open for the season!
