I understand everybody is STILL afraid of Covid, however we are no longer going through the pandemic and Covid will forever be a part of life, just like the flu and other viruses!
I called to make an appointment as I was experiencing symptoms for a few weeks now. I tested FOUR times for Covid, all at different times, ALL of which came back negative! I didn’t even have a fever. I was functioning but just had been dealing with a stubborn chest and upper respiratory cold / allergy for a while. I called the doctor and the receptionist told me I was not allowed at the office with my symptoms. I told her I have been Covid free every single time I tested I do not have a fever and didn’t have the flu. I guess Penn Medicine doctors don’t see sick people anymore. The ironic part is, I was seen, in office, last year for the same symptoms. I guess this year is different? ! Its a real shame healthcare has become this bad, with absolutely ZERO regard for patients care! I don’t even know what they do every day, or what anyone is getting paid for if they refuse to see sick people! Awful! I will be escalating this issue and noting that patient care was denied when in need! All Penn Medicine doctors, as well as other doctors who won’t see sick people should find a different profession or retire! Again, there are other viruses in life, other than COVID that people need to be seen for, in person! And as a doctor, it is disturbing and pathetic as to how the ignorance is still there!

Staff doesn't like to answer the phone. Was on hold for over 25 minutes waiting for a staff member. What a joke

I found Dr Eisner to be kind, compassionate.and very knowledgeable! Everything and more that I could hope for in a physician. He is also accessible and returns phone calls in a timely manner!

Kim w is the rudest person management will be contacted I came out of office in tears. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone now for the doctors I don't know cause u didn't make it that far but the front desk treats you in a very UNPROFESSIONAL and awful manner. I please advise your team to consider hiring new staff.

I have only had one brief negative experience with one person in decades of using pma. It was one of the younger gals and I would think she didn't last long at pma. Sorry, can't remember her name at all. All of the other support staff have been fine over the years. I have felt privileged to have Dr. Joel Eisner as my personal physician for decades. He is such a dedicated person, with a fabulous sense of humor, meaning a very good bedside manner. I am not looking forward to having to find a doctor in the future if Dr Eisner retires. We are both piling up the years. I know many people feel the same way about him that I do. I think he tries to keep the staff amused and I am sure they respect him a great deal. He has received regional recognition. I hope there are many more physicians just like Dr. Eisner.

This dr don’t spend time with patient always in rush to leave the room i couldn’t ask questions comfortably to him I guess making money is the first priority to him not treating and focusing on patients,

My family and I just moved here from CA to PA in January. I just met Dr. Eisner today on 07/03/2018. He did more for my family in 30 minutes than any one that we have met with since we've been here. I"m finally starting to feel like we might make it here after all! Thank you Dr. Eisner, and staff! Also very friendly and helpful.

This is my first time at pma medical specialist I see doctor Saunders for my asthma and he is a great doctor I also see the nurse who works with doctor Saunders she is the best I would recommend my family and friends to come here for there asthma
