El Balconcito reviews
12Good atmosphere, with moderately priced menu options. Good selection of Peruvian items overall great menu with seafood and steak options. Quick service and no excessive wait.
El Balconcito is a very good restaurant here upper part of Philadelphia very nice establishment sells liquor beer and sodas but the food is by-far very very good i couldn’t finish my dish because of the size but won’t go to waste because it’s coming home with me the hostess was very sweet and nice and always checking on us if need something else but overall very southern touch in the restaurant latin food and seafood? I recommend this place
I was disappointed at the service, very slow and the waiter very cold and unprofessional went taking orders. Food was good, but the environment is terrible, two women at the bar chanting, making noises like rameras. The music choice was horrible and low class. This location is not the place to take your family, especially children. The location at Castor avenue is much better.
Service was kind of slow. The food wasn't super impressive. I enjoyed the fried plantains but my steak was bland. Not bad though. Just nothing impressive.
I've tried two or three things on the menu and enjoyed all of them. Service is good. Dining room is decent but cramped.
This is my spot how was school did you get my panini sandwiches and some of the best I used to go there all the time in Philly but I'm now currently living in Florida and I've tried every way to find one the way they could come up there and it's none so I'm always going whenever I'm in Philly
Very good. I got there at the perfect time. And it wasn't busy. But soon after it filled up quick. Limited seating
I love this restaurant! I eat here every week mostly weekends ️️️ The best waitress for me is José he takes my order the best and never has his mistakes with me and my partner ️
Sucks! I'm Peruvian can't lie to me about my Peruavian dishes and the food there it's old and nasty.
The food here is amazing, my plate was definitely enough for two. I loved everything but don’t let them seat you by the door in the winter.was so cold! Definitely will be back!
Food and drinks are good. I ordered seafood soup for 8.00 to go. When I got there the server took the wrong order. My soup was $22.00. Server didn't seem happy to rectify. Be sure you speak Spanish.
Ordered take out.food was EXCELLENT, even after microwaving meals when we got home! One of the best meals I've had in Philadelphia in 18 years!
