El Cantinflas Bar & Restaurant reviews
15Very cute bar/ restaurant. The food was excellent we had the chicken pastelillos made fresh not ones that have been sitting under a hot lamp. We also had the bacalaitos and the alcapurias they were hot n freshly cooked they were excellent as well. Whoever they have in the kitchen is killing it. We were there for about two hours and the amount of take out orders were crazy. Needless to say I'll be back
Good food and service. The owners and staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Me and family went today for some tacos and drinks was a really nice day to eat outside but outside dining patio was close we asked to eat out and they were kind enough to open for us and put music while we wait for are food that didn't took long and was really good with ice cold beer love this place will be back again soon thanks to the lady that served us to the one that open up the outside dining patio for us and make us feel like home 8/17/22 at 6pm
Great little place with amazing food.great owners who took the time to hang out with us and take pictures.
Boricua box, is exactly how the picture is. (4 Pinchos, 4breads, 4 bacalaitos, 4 alcapurrias and a small tray of Papas locas. My kids enjoyed the Pinchos and Papas locas meanwhile Us parents enjoyed bacalaitos and alcapurrias. Will be buying again. They do have other things in menu.
El Cantinflas is a neighborhood bar with some kickass plantain dishes. If you’re craving Puerto Rican food —bacalaito, mofongo, stuffed plantains, they have you covered. They often have a DJ with music blasting, and serve buckets if Coronitas along with an assortment of beer and spirits. If you go when they’re busy, there’s likely to be plenty of dancing to go with the music. Make sure you go prepared to have a good time.
Ordered from grubhub/seamless but the review system is conveniently giving an error.
Food had enough salt to kill an adolescent water-buffalo. The drink, sweet enough to induce gagging. Cheese, almost nonexistent, as in "did they run out of cheese and throw the last 2 shreds in to qualify this as an empanada? "An awful waste of money
The food was good! The wait time on the chicken was worth it. Good vibes nice culture. If you’re in the neighborhood the tacos are worth the stop.
Very sad! Vaccine card needed… People need to realize that not everyone is allowed to get the vaccine for medical reasons…….
We had an amazing time at this place. We loved the extraordinary ambience and the menu. The staff members are super amiable. I’m glad we eventually managed to try this restaurant.
I’m so picky about my tacos Everytime I get tacos they’re always dry no flavor. But oh MY GOOOOOSH I tried this place out for the first time the tacos? JUICY, FLAVORFUL, over all DELICIOUS! The tostones were great, food was hot when it got delivered the Delivery was fast the staff over the phone was very very professional she was like a Angel from above never got frustrated once just amazing. I recommended this restaurant 10/10 just love love love.
Amazing! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great. Authentic mofongo. Whenever I'm in the area I have to stop by.
Had a excellent experience in this place with my friend. The food was served quickly and the customer service is just great. Prices are convenient.
Good food nice place but 4.50 for one taco is a lot then on line say they 3.00 it should be by the order like 3 tacos i dont like the deal it to much
I’m reviewing the food. Not so much the place because we all know it’s an older neighborhood bar. Haven’t had many updates in over who know how many years but who cares! The food never disappoints! The staff is always very nice and attentive. Everyone there usually is pretty nice and mines their own business. Now the food: I went yesterday for the first time in 5 yrs and I see the menu was updated. The crab pastelillos were on point, chicken tacos - awesome as always, bacalaitos - delicious. There picaderas are always good. Drinks are priced reasonably. It’s one of those places that makes you come back to your old hood because you can’t find places that make authentic puertorican food anymore.
