El Cubano Restaurant, Lancaster PA

I make it a point to visit this restaurant when I drive in from out of town to take a continuing ed class for massage therapy. The cosmetology school is across the street.
3 years ago I stopped in on my lunch hour to try their food and discovered it was delicious! The servers are friendly and explained the entrees to me so I got just what I wanted!
The restaurant is clean but not fancy the food, however, is so so good! Several customers were coming in to pick up their order. The soup or stew not sure what you'd call it was flavorful and so yummy! I would definitely recommend El Cubano.

Great atmosphere to go study or to have a quiet meal w/ someone

The food was good and not the usual stuff like pizza or sub shops that are everywhere.
Enjoyed the Yucca. Never had that before. Food was put together quickly too. The lady even brought it to my table.

10/10 definitely going again.

They just charged me 12 dollars for this order. The food was delicious but I think 12 dollars for this plate that when I opened it was practically empty. It's not the first time I eat there. And a month ago I ordered the same thing and they charged me 8 dollars which seems fair to me but 11 dollars I think is unheard of. Sorry I love your food but I don't think I will return to your restaurant for a long time. It is not the standard Cuban restaurant that exists in this area.

I found this little Cuban restaurant by accident while on an errand. I stopped with my daughter and she had her first espresso while we waited for our Cuban sandwich and smoothies. First, the espresso was delicious. We were intrigued by the smoothie flavor offerings and there was barely enough for my husband and son to sample by the time we got home as Gretchen drank more than her share on the ride home. Gretchen’s response on the sandwich, “OMG, it is huge, warm, and toasty! Yum! ” We will be stopping back to try other dishes for dinner. I recommend adding this one to your list of places to check out!

Absolutely love their food and service is always polite and fast. Best Cuban food in Lancaster hands down.

Empanadas were wonderful. Try the corn nuggets.they were great!

I had a really good experience at El Cubano. A great spot if you’re looking for some authentic Cuban cuisine. For my first time, I went with the Cuban sandwich. Cuban pork is the best you will find anywhere and this thing was massive. One half of a sandwich and an empanada was more than filling and it was nice getting a second meal out of it. Not only was it a good size, but all of the ingredients came together perfectly. Can’t wait to come back and try one of the combo meals.

I don't know what happened but yesterday without realizing it I ate a plate of food for $30 SUPER EXPENSIVE! I don't know if the cashier was wrong but it seems like a lot for a plate of rice with gris, cassava and old clothes! Everything on the same plate! And two masareales! The food was delicious but I feel like the cashier either SCAMMED me or the PRICES were SUPER HIGH! Extra than taking advantage of inflation

So amazing! Super friendly service and great atmosphere. My husband and I split the Cuban sandwich, which was the best we've had and very filling! We also tried the chicken/cheese, beef/cheese, and mushroom empanadas, which were also fantastic. I really loved the mushroom empanada, and cannot wait to order more in the future. The guava smoothie was so delicious and not sugary, just naturally had a light sweetness from the guava fruit. If you're on the fence, definitely come here and get all the delicious food and awesome service, you won't regret it!

Food is very good service inside is very good staff is friendly. Outside is a different business not so friendly food not the best.

Very good pizza super friendly and respectful. My recommendation for the place would be more promotion to attract the attention of more customers.

The portion sizes for what you're paying for is amazing. Plenty of food for a great price. Arroz con gandules we're DELICIOUS, pork was delicious, maduros were perfect, sandwiches are delicious, empanadas, everything. This is now our go-to spot for some good Caribbean food

I ordered fried plantains and pork ribs. The pork had no seasoning and the plantains were cut too thick. Which gave them a stale texture.

An excellent restaurant to go to dinner as a family and as a couple, very good and delicious, its menu and plate of food and excellent service 100 percent recommended
