I was treated very kindly and had a good foot surgeon to look over my sumy.ptoms and case. She told me my foot has suffered too much trauma and surgery to do anything about my toes I learned something I did not know. For me, I should wear shoes that don't flex due to my foot and ankle fusion. I always thought I should be wearing a flex shoe. This was important for me to know. She gave me brands and specific brands of sneakers that will now
purchase as soon as funds allow. I was very happy with my experience

I am very grateful that even under the circumstances, this experience has been smooth and pleasant.
I was there for 2 hours, it was very busy and the doctor was in and out of my room in 5 minutes. It was a very frustrating experience. I didn't feel like she spent adequate time with me and the wait was very long compared to other experiences I've had at orthopedic offices. I would not recommend this location. She seemed nice but it was way too rushed.
Dr Wellens took the time to explain my condition and aspects of recovery I could expect from physical therapy. After a thorough evaluation she felt I could regain pain free functioning following the PT program. She also assured me that there were additional treatments if my condition didn’t resolve. I would recommend this physician.
