Their staff is very unprofessional and unorganized. They also decided to withhold half my security deposit because the living room wasn't a neutral color- I had painted the walls white, to make the space feel a little cleaner and more modern. Not sure when white stopped being neutral.

Had issues with mice in my kitchen the entire time I lived there and they never seemed interested in trying to seal up the outside of the building or solve the issue. I had 8 mouse traps in my kitchen at one time.

Laundry was way too expensive for the quality of the washer/dryer.

We've been at the property 13+ yrs, so that in itself says something. All in all it's been 13 pretty good years in regards to the company itself.

Living at Westview Apts managed by Elfant Pontz has been a great experience. The modern decor and spacious apartments they provide gives a nice luxurious and cozy experience that I doubt I’d find elsewhere.

Very professional and responsive. Entirely more helpful and accommodating than my last real estate company. Our Property Management Assistant, Crystal, is especially helpful. I have emailed her many times since we've moved in with various requests. She is kind and her responses are always prompt. Glad I am being taken care of as a tenant!

We've been living in a rental managed by Elfant Pontz for the last 2+ years and have had a great experience with them. They've been prompt and responsive with maintenance requests, and have been particularly helping in working with us during COVID. Crystal has, in particular, been a big help in communication with the property owner, addressing maintenance needs, and helping with the lease management overall. We've enjoyed working with them and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a rental property in Philadelphia.

I was a tenant of their East Main Manayunk Apartments in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia for 20 months as the first resident in my unit.

The building was recently built adjacent to one of their other properties, but has the added benefit of a secured parking garage on the ground floor which can be used for reserved tenants for a monthly fee, if available.

Certainly, the amount of the parking fee may vary based on when you read this due to the current market price, but I can honestly say that it was the best decision to spend the $100.00 per month for a secured parking space. As such, I did not need to worry about a) finding a parking space or b) be subject to all of the risks associated with dense street parking in a city.

If you do not have or need a car for work, the building itself is less than two blocks from the local SEPTA train station, so either your daily commute or spontaneous trip into the city is equally hassle-free.

The building itself does not disappoint. Just look at the marketing photos.

In essence, you get what you pay for.

Rent payments are easy to submit thanks to their online portal, as well as submitting any maintenance requests through the same. The one and only time I had to submit a request, the technician was promptly on-site and resolved the issue quickly. All during the COVID-19 environment, no less.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience as a tenant at East Main Manayunk Apartments. The team at Elfant Pontz Properties is professional and responsive and they take pride in their work. Shout out to Inez for being an absolute gem. The building itself is in a great location which offers an easy commute into Center City, plentiful options for dining, as well as easy access to the Schuylkill River Trail, and the interiors are what you would expect for the market price.

Janet and Inez have been a pleasure to work with. I recently purchased a rental property in the Mt. Airy area and the Elfant Pontz team found a tenant quickly and kept me updated throughout the process. They're extremely responsive, and Janet is thorough and thoughtful in her communication.

I'd recommend hiring Janet and her team if you need property management in the area!

Maintenance team are the best and crystal. I sent her my issues and someone (frank) was out the next day or even the same day. Maintenance are nice people and always polite. Marcia is the best also!

Crystal has been wonderful with returning emails and staying on top of any maintenance issues that have come about on the property. She sees each step through and assures to keep me updated so I know what is happening at all times.

I highly recommend renting with Elfant Pontz Properties! From their office team to maintenance they are always very diligent and responsive. Whenever you need anything you can expect a timely reply during business hours, and maintenance is always in next day at latest making repairs seamless and quick. It shows that they care for their property and renters.
Wouldn't hesitate to rent with them again if I move back to the area!
