Elite Bartending School, Pittsburgh PA

Wonderful class! The instructors are excellent and the course taught me more than I ever thought I'd know in 2 weeks!

This place is legit. I've done a "bartending course" before. This is a bartending SCHOOL that will actually teach you things beyond how to pour, and help you get a job if you can't find one (I found one on my own, within days of graduating). Bill, the night class instructor is awesome. So is Lawrie, the owner, in addition to being very responsive. Highly recommend.

This is the best place to learn and enjoy your time learning about bartending Lorie was an amazing teacher so personal and able to get everyone together and involved 10/10 would recommend

I am an older woman and was unsure I would be able to handle the 5-day class. Lawrie was super nice and accommodating. I was with such a great group of people. Everyone was so helpful and non-judgmental. The whole set-up was amazing. Lawrie was a great instructor. The class was interesting and fun. I never thought after just one week I would be able to make all kinds of drinks on my own. It was obvious from day one that Lawrie wanted everyone to succeed. It was a great time and great experience. I learned so much that I hope to take into a bartending position. I highly recommend the Elite Bartending School.

I cannot recommend Elite Bartending School enough. I joined one of the evening classes after getting laid off from my job. My instructor, Bill, was extremely personable and provided clear explanations. The director, Lawrie, also went out of her way to assist the students with their resumes and connected us with job opportunities she knew of. I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and was hired a week after graduating. If you are on the fence, I say go for it.

Highly endorse this program and instructors. I am recently retired from a corporate role yet wanted to continue to work. Enrolled in the 1 week program, graduated 7/14/23 and enjoyed the experience very much. Can’t believe how much I learned! Diverse mix of students in the class which made it fun. Feel prepared to to take on a bartending role. There is a lot of content and the program is laid out to help students build then apply skills. The ability to apply with hands-on learning in a supportive environment very helpful. Lawrie was our instructor and really appreciated her approach. She was committed to our success and is well-networked in Pittsburgh (which helps with placement and opportunities).

I had the opportunity to take Elite Bartending School with Lawrie Madden about three weeks ago. I took the week long 9-5 class with 7 other people. The class was so fun and interesting, Lawrie is truly the kindest instructor ever, and my classmates cheered each other on the whole time. Not only that, but Lawrie helped me get immediate job placement at a bar that same week!

Elite was a great experience! I did the 1-week course with Lawrie. It was informative, hands-on, and Lawrie is a fantastic teacher. Several students had job offers before the week was even over due to Lawrie's list of contacts and her recommendation. If you want to have fun, this class is for you. If you want a job, this class is definitely for you!

No question was left unanswered, and Lawrie went above and beyond to ensure that everyone grasped the concepts and techniques effectively. By far the best training that I have ever received! It was super informative, well explained, and demonstrated. A very hands-on and positive environment. Set up for positive reinforcement and easy and fun learning. I will be highly suggesting elite bartending school to all of my family, friends, and colleagues. Lawrie is absolutely amazing! I finished Elite Bartending School in December 2022. I had no experience at all and within 5 days learned more than I thought was possible. The owner Lawrie Madden was fantastic and helped me become adequate behind a bar. Our class had a ton of fun in the process and we all passed. I highly recommend this class to anyone trying to get behind a bar!

I can't say enough about Lawrie and Bill at the Elite Bartending School. I learned so much and they were incredibly accomodating for my schedule as well. The environment is so very realistic and the hands on is indespensible for a future behind the bar. This is a fantastic value for the money as now-a-days you should make the cost of the course back in a weekend.

One intense week, but totally worth it! Learned an immense amount, in a great environment. Got a job before I even took the final test!
