Elite TOMA Martial Arts reviews
6Great program here! We have two young sons who have enjoyed the structured approach very much.
My son has been attending toma for a few months now and we love it. The staff are incredibly friendly and organized. It is amazing how much progress the kids make with the superb instruction offered.
At Elite TOMA (Traditional Oriental Martial Arts), Grand Master Kim, the office staff and all of the junior instructors tirelessly foster a sense of community by creating strong bonds between students and great communication with parents. They are professional, polite and so engaged in exposing the children to different concepts at a pace that benefits the students. The TOMA method goes well beyond Martial Arts to teach life and social skills. TOMA reinforces self-esteem, loyalty, and being humble and respectful to those around you.
We can't say enough for the fun experiences that our children had in TOMA summer camp and they preferred it over the places that we had taken them in years past.
We also appreciate that TOMA offers special classes - inviting friends and parents to come as well as parents night out, and the list goes on.
We were extremely picky when choosing a school for our children, but we are confident that TOMA is giving them the strong foundation that is needed for interpersonal success.
In the spirit of a well-rounded child, we feel there is merit to the TOMA program which enriches through a more traditional learning structure.
Our children are performing beyond our expectations and we are very excited to see the TOMA progress as time goes on.
We are forever grateful that we found this gem of a school that we happily call our new family.
TOMA has been a second home for our 16 year old for over 5 years now. He does classes, the two teams and is an instructor there. Our 9 year old has started a similar path. TOMA is not a business, it’s family. That is how they run it and it then ripples into all the families who go there. This past year, they took things to another level by handling COVID better than anyone through virtual options and great in person safety protocols. 5 stars is not enough!
TOMA is more than Taekwondo. TOMA has become a 2nd family to us. The Masters take great pride in building the children’s: confidence, strength, trust, discipline and sense of community. Their genuine concern is not only what the children do in their Dojang, but also how they are doing in school and behaving at home.
They run an annual charity drive which brings many people together in the community to benefit CHOP. In addition, they have an awesome birthday party package.
I can say that my daughter does great in school, has confidence and strength and a large variety of friends due to the experience she has embraced at TOMA.
Sincerely,
The Testa’s
