Elk Creek Cafe + Aleworks, Millheim PA

We've been going to Elk Creek for years. The beer is reliably excellent - never had a bad one - and the food under Chef Cutty is delicious, innovative, and largely locally sourced. The live music program is ridiculously good, from local artists to regional names on their way up. Not exaggerating; we moved to this town because of Elk Creek Café.

Have dined here a couple of times and the food is always consistently amazing. But my one gripe is that if you happen to be there and a band is going to perform, you have to pay to stay there while the band is performing. Would make more sense if you only had to pay if you were coming in after the band had already started playing.

Our salad was heavenly along with delicious chicken in the stick. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm along with quiet music in background. Worth your visit.

Truly delighted to find such a fantastic brewpub in a small town! Elk Creek showcases cozy environment, friendly service, outstanding food and most impressively, excellent local bands.

We went on a Thursday around 6: 30 to see a performance. The place was about 80% full with front row tables still available. We ordered a salad, roasted shishito peppers, and fish & chips. Everything was delicious and made of fresh and high quality ingredients.

There’s no cover but do bring cash to tip the band. The concert was fantastic. Seeing the crew perform with such passion just made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

Will definitely come back again and again!

We stopped in on a whim on our way through the area. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Unfortunately, we arrived prior to a sold out event but staff still welcomed us in to grab a quick drink at the bar. When we went to pay out tab we saw we had a drink comped for our anniversary. What a thoughtful gesture! We will definitely be back for dinner in the near future. A gem of a place in a rural little town

After waiting 45 minutes for our food, the only item on the menu without cheese my boyfriend ordered came out COVERED in cheese.i sat waiting an additional 10+ minutes for his food to come back out, they had scraped the cheese off the eggs and brought the plate back out.the eggs were vile, regardless of cheese or not (i love cheese) and the english muffin was stale.i had gotten a fried green tomato eggs benedict- tasted like someone had made it and left it in the back for about an hour.not many options on the menu so you think the 5 things on the menu would be tasty.not worth the 40$ we wasted.had to get up from the table to even get our own water.coffee was the only good thing.
