I’ve been here twice in the past 8 year both times I had horrible experiences. If you want to die they will be do it with pleasure. They don’t know how to care about adults and kids. They don’t doing anything for my child more than 5 hours. My child almost died, because of horrible not educated doctor and nurses. SHAME FOR YOU. I BELIEVE IT THAT WHAT YOU DID WITH MY CHILD. YOU WOLL BE HAVE TWICE WORSE EXPERIENCE.with your kids.

Severe rash with such intense burning and pain lead me to the ER. I was feeling depressed with this pain that has been going on for 9 months. It got so severe today I went in, hoping for any help with pain relief or steroids. My entire face was swollen. I was told there was only help available for the depression and not for the pain or skin swelling. Crying in pain as I left, will never return to this ER. Staff was extremely rude.

I’ve been here twice in the past year or so following 2 different surgeries, and both times I had horrible experiences. The doctors and nurses belittled me and my symptoms and treated me like i was 100% fine. This past visit, my ER Dr was Kenneth Kleckner. If he is assigned to you, run! He had absolutely no beside manner and was extremely rude. After explaining my symptoms he took one look in my eyes with a flashlight and concluded I was perfectly fine cause he can’t see anything wrong with me, as soon as he walked into the room he could just tell I was fine? Unless you have X-ray vision, I don’t think that’s how it works. When my dad and I questioned him about why I was told to go to the ER for these symptoms over the phone he responded angrily with “well I can see her, and she’s fine.on the phone they couldn’t see her”…also mentioning something along the lines of…”it’s not like she lost an arm” Then at the end my nurse said “if you have any heart issues or shortness of breath come back to the ER” WHEN I ALREADY TOLD HER THAT WAS WHAT I WAS THERE FOR. These miserable people don’t care about you. Go somewhere where they will.

Lancaster General was alway busy so I decided to take my dad to UPMC. There are only 2 people are in the waiting room including my dad, but it still take them over 2 hours to get my dad in.

I visited the ER on 1/10/23 the wait time was ridiculous, it took about 4-5 hours before I was taken back to a room. However, once I was seen all the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their positions. They were very attentive & had an answer to all my questions.

On October 28 around 5: 30 am I was in the Emergency Room, and I had a bad experience when I arrived. Since I had chest pain and high blood pressure and we told the person at Reception and she insisted on filling out all the Hipa papers, etc. The printer did not work for her and she insisted on trying to print the documents before letting us pass so that they could attend to me. My daughter told her again, it's chest pain, those papers at this moment are not important, she gives them to me later. That person, seeing my daughter's insistence, let us go with the nurse. Then, inside the room, the attention of the technicians, nurses and doctor was excellent. The reception person should be oriented if it is an emergency should leave the paperwork for an opportune moment.

If I could give this team a hundred stars, I would. From the person that checked me in, to the team I had inside with me: Sierra, Jordan, James & Dr. Kletmer, I had the BEST experience, I was in the most capable of hands. Kudos to this facility & thank you!

I’m only giving two stars due to the fact the front desk person who checks you in was very nice. After that point you can forget it! I’m not sure if she was a doctor? I’m assuming so. If she would have told me one more time how bad I was going to feel or how bad it was going to “suck” I could of smacked her. I never experienced hand foot and mouth in my life. I actually only thought kids could get it. I was in such uncomfortable pain which is why I went in at 4 am. I was in and out of there within 20 mins. I’m pretty sure at one point she even said “dude”. Where in the hell is the bedside manner? It’s a no. I will never go back.
