Emma’s Liberian Kitchen reviews
20I ordered off of Uber eats it was so good! I ordered 3 days straight. I definitely won't use any other African restaurants. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Y'all have made me a forever customer. I love the fish and plantain platter. The fish is huge and there not shy with the portions.
I love her food, been going their for years. I just wish they would keep the same cook because the food is not good sometimes. I wish y'all would taste it before selling it. I will still go there because I just like that restaurant. Update! Went there recently the fish was tasteless and unseasoned, no salt or season the fish. My husband cassava leave was tasteless, unseasoned and I think I will give there a break.
Their food is good but it could be better way too much oil and not enough potato greens. Please Emma cut down the oils not healthy.
A lot of portion but stingy on the meat make sure they give you chicken instead of cow skin. If you looking for the right place better Go to King and queens a lil more expensive but worth it!
The food always been good from day one when I first start eating from there potato green cabbage, okra, all was good to me
All in all good food, they make food wayyy too spicy. I ordered potato greens, it was so hot before I even took a bite, spice from food made my eyes watery. Almost vomited from eating due to spiciness. ️
Found a cockroach inside my food, guys please don’t order from here if you care about your life and health.
Cassava leaf and potato greens are absolutely delicious the only thing I don't like is the huge pieces of meat.
I was amazed by my experience with Emma's Liberian Kitchen. The food was delicious and full of flavor, and the presentations were beautiful. The service was also top-notch, with the staff being friendly and accommodating. I was particularly impressed with their much variety of traditional Liberian dishes on the menu. I would highly recommend Emma's Liberian Kitchen for anyone looking for an authentic tasting Liberian experience.
The flavor is always good but I went today and the meat wasn’t tender, barely any meat at all but it was really hard to the point all I could eat was the greens. They were also rude. No one greets you and taking orders are not a priority when they’re having a conversation! Probably won’t be returning.
I can’t lie the food is really Good but the mice that I seen running in the place makes it a little difficult….
Very unprofessional.argumentative. Us liberians have to be better with customer service! It's very frustrating. The minute we realize this we will be unstoppable
Short and to the point. The food is great. But as much traffic comes in I wouldn't eat in. Take it home to enjoy
Food is not all the hype. My order was messed up. Potato greens had no flavor, she didnt give me my fried okra. I ordered Chuck rice n gravy, ummm yea not sure if i had that, And FuFu. Im not sure wat i had by the time i got home. I cld only identify the potato greens n fufu. NOT sure if i wld go back.
Only gave them 2 stars for price. For all that i paid $34.00
The quantity of the food is alot however the service sucked. When a person open up a restaurant you have to know how to deal with new customers especially American. The last visit the person preparing the food was rude and inpatient. The guy working the counter and the owner realized what the lady said and was very sorry how me and my friend was being treated and gave us a free water. The lady behind the counter need to know how to treat people and not tell another employee that we need to hurry up to order. We took our time because it was only our second time there and wanted to explore or taste bud and enjoy a good meal. I think she can use customer service and need more organization. You never know who you can be in contact with no matter where you are from.
Today was my third week in a row going here, enjoy the food till today cause the guy came in and was a bit rude and mess up my order and I still had to pay for his error.
Great place to buy African meats and ingredients.
The staff is always professional, fast and helpful.
Fair prices African food.
I got okra and potato greens it was delicious.
10 a platter up to 20 for fish
The food is so delicious. I also love the fact that they give large portions & their prices are so reasonable. It's always busy so it takes awhile to get your food but it's worth the wait.
The food is so good but the pepper is too much. Y’all please try to put the pepper on the side or not tooooooo much pepper in the soup please please my people not everybody eat a lot of pepper. And yes I am a Liberian. The pepper soup is way too spicy.
