Seeing my childhood friend as an instructor at empire beauty school gives me the courage and confidence to sit in any of the students chair and just enjoy the experience because I know Angie has taught them well. I haven't been wrong as of yet. Great Job and Thanks Ladies of Empire

I went for an eyebrow waxing and was very pleased with the result! Nicole Gotto was the girl who did my eyebrows will be going again and can’t wait to see where she goes after!

Chauncey was extremely helpful sharing what doors can be opened with a career in the Cosmetology industry at West Philadelphia Catholic High School career fair.

When I went there about a year or two years ago they was truly nice to me and they took care of me very well. I love how they did my hair.

Worst experience ever. Do not get your hair balayage here. My 14 year daughter had a first time traumatic experience. Betsy was her student stylist.l specifically told her that my daughter wanted a partial highlight frame of face type balayage showed her a picture of the the hair style. Very simple hair style because I knew this is a school not a professional establishment. Betsy acted like it was easy no problem. I reiterated not the whole head and not anything near the scalp something low maintenance just a few pieces. I was rudely told I couldn’t be back there with her because of insurance purposes. I would have paid or signed a form to just watch over what the girl was doing. The teacher assure me she would watch over her work and not to worry. After a 2 hrs they called me to the see the results of her hair after washing out the bleach. Her head was cover in bleach like a bad ombré. I was livid. They brought her back to the chair and she seen her hair. My daughter was absolutely devastated. She asked Betsy to get me. When I seen it they were trying to tone it and fix her mistakes. Betsy blamed the teacher and said it was her fault. I said I don’t care who’s fault please fix it. Two hours later her hair was not fixed and was horrible. I was patient and polite and explained my frustration about the results. I was rushed out because they were done for the day and told to pay the $51 and come back in 2 weeks and they will fix it. No absolutely not. I took my daughter the next day and paid $250 for a professional to fix their incompetence. The salon said that was one of the worst they had seen. I would only recommend getting your hair styled or braided there as I seen a lot of young ladies hair come out nicely. But please don’t go here for balayage or highlights.

I received a cut and style. My stylist name was Leah. It was a great experience. The shampoo and conditioner smelled so good and relaxing. Definitely going back

The environment is very clean the staff are friendly I got my hair done twice by Artishon both times outstanding job she is amazing, talks with her clients I appreciate it

The whole experience was nice, relaxing and quick. Taniya was very smart on how to really fix my hair, which it needed. She give out good advise and was careful on handling the short parts. I’ll definitely be back

I was going to Empire Beauty School 6 months in 2021, June 2021 very thing was okay but the teacher Ms. Ann is disrespectful I Spilt water on the floor and she told me "make sure I clean it up so nobody will fall" and I did clean it up. She was like " whatever your name is, clean it up" I told Ms good and they put us in a into one whole class. In Oct 2021 I was getting bullied & harassment but nobody wanted to do nothing about it and I was telling and asking for help but nobody did anything about it. I'm telling you to keep your money in your pocket and don't waste your time on being in here because the teachers don't care and very unprofessional. This was my dream school but it was waste of my time and I could of been in a better school. They treat it like it's high school but it's not high school. This whole situation they think I'm wrong but I'm not if nobody was helping me

I enjoyed my time at Empire getting my hair done by MAKIYAH @thereallminks on Instagram. She made my time here lovely. I would recommend requesting her for a service when visiting here.

Would be nice if they had lint rollers for masks when they get all messed up with the hair but otherwise superb!
