Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lewistown PA

Horrible experience. We had a claim from State Farm for body work and had a car scheduled and confirmed with enterprise (they called me to confirm). Then when it came time to pick up the car, they lost the reservation and we had to put a deposit down because of this. The car had a no smoking sticker but it had a strong smoke smell and took a lot of air fresheners to mask it. Speaking with the auto body shop, they say that it is a frequent thing for enterprise to lose reservations.

My recent experience (from August 1 - August 15,2022) at Enterprise in Lewistown changed my former perception of Enterprise for the better. The local manager there provided exceptional service and assistance with obtaining a vehicle and working with my insurance company while my vehicle was being repaired. My biggest surprise was when he proactively called me after my insurance company sent the billing information! I didn't have to call back to ask. Additionally, the vehicle that was provided was clean (cleaner than those obtained at large airports) and in great condition - I hated to return it!

Too bad there's not a zero. First, there was no reservation for me and no cars available for the next 6 days while my car was in the body shop for repairs. Six days later, I get a call asking when I'm picking up my "scheduled" rental. Manager was rude and not helpful. I called Customer service at 10 AM and was told that the Regional manager would call me. So far, no call today

I called in and spoke to someone & then go in & then tell me once I rode my bike there they said no rentals & tried to call me. Which they did not
Nit happy with enterprise of Lewistown today

Mini van broke down 5 hours into 15 hour trip at midnight. Had to pay for hotel rooms out of pocket and lost a night on vacation rental and a days vacation. Van was 1409.00 the gave a discount and had to pay 816.00 for the van ($200.00) was refund when we returned van, $400.00 didnt even cover the hotel rooms and 1st night rental we lost! Manager at Huntington, PA office called while broke down to assure me he checked the van over and okayed it himself, it was an electric van, we were told at pick up we didnt need to worry as long as it had gas we didnt need to worry about charging it, it was on 1%, when we picked it up. No one will return calls or emails! Enterprise doesnt care about customer safety or satifaction, just $$$$$$!

This site is perfect, the staff is great and an excellent selection of vehicles. They always have my car ready and I’m in and out quickly.

All the benefit of a national firm with great local service, I recommend this location and chain to anyone who needs a rental. Kelsey and her team are always incredibly helpful and professional.

Tried to rent a car. Made a reservation to pick the car up at noon a couple weeks before I needed it. They called me the day before and changed the time to 4 pm. Mildly inconvenient. Showed up to pick the car up and they decided to close early. Called them next day and they said and they don't have a car for me.

Anytime I go away I always rent a car through you guys and I have no troubles at all and I like renting it through you guys and and I'm glad I'm able to do that and I know I always will come back in the future
