Enterprise Rent-A-Car, York PA

Renting a car should be easy. There used to be reams of paperwork and long lines. I was delighted to find that my local Enterprise store has gone digital. So it was very quick, no waiting, sign in a couple of places on the iPad and drive away in a sparkling clean car with a full tank of gas. Returning the car was just as easy and fast. Good job Enterprise. Oh, and their help are delightful to work with.
I'll be back!

Horrible experience! I don't have a major credit card at the moment because my bf passed suddenly very recently so I followed ALL the directions for using a debit card. I reserved my car as well. When I got there the girl that helped was so rude. She told me none of my debit cards would work because they are prepaid and don't come from a bank! ;. Am I the idiot here or is she who has a bank account with a debit card that isn't prepaid? My cards had wells Fargo, Bank of America, and the third I'm not sure. What kind of debit card is not prepaid? Any Bank you go to is going to make you deposit money to be able to use the debit card.isn't that prepaid as well? The worst I've ever been treated. EVER! AND IF YOU READ THIS.you need to treat the customers that come in there alot better! You have no idea what someone else is going through.and use common sense.smh

Very easy rental experience overall. I didn't realize they closed at 5pm and I was delayed due to accidents on I83 from Maryland. They were kind enough to wait a few minutes extra for me to get my car without having to go to another location. Communication was easy and friendly. Thanks so much to William D and Lindsay S for great service.

This place is a joke!
The commutation is lacking here. I booked a car online, they confirmed with me on the phone and. I told them I was an out of state driver with debit card I was told not an issue.

We arrive and was told the opposite that i couldn’t get a car rental because I was out of state and didn’t have a credit card so they can hit you with charges u didn’t agree too.

I had gone over on the phone every thing and no issues but get there and it changes. If I could, I would give these Bozo’s a zero for a rating… do yourself a favor if you are coming in from another state rent a car at the airport.

This location pick and choose who they want to go above and beyond for. They aim to please a certain demographic. They need immediate inclusion and diversity training. Since Alex left, the customer service and what enterprise stands for left with him. And I’m also tried of getting vehicles with mechanical issues. I refuse to pay so much money if I have to constantly contact roadside assistance. Bring back good managers and those that work under them. I will drive to Hanover or the airport even if it’s a journey just not to deal with the people here.

Always great experience. I have been renting from this location since 2005.

Enterprise had to cancel my reservation due to a store being closed. No problem. A lady on the phone set me up with a new one at Arsenal Road.

We arrive there, and I'm told we came to the wrong location (we didn't) so we went to where her computer told her our reservation was at, which was this one on South Queen.

We arrive, and not only are we not in their system but they have no cars available.

We leave. 10 minutes later I get an email about my reservation at South Queen is ready for pickup at 2.

The pick up & drop off time weren't correct, and even the drop off date was no correct.

I will never use Enterprise again. We have been driving around to all these stores and nobody knows anything.

Hertz helped me immediately.

We had a great experience with this location, Jerry was super helpful from start to finish and the vehicle was new, clean and great on gas. Pick up and drop off was fast and easy.

Great experience. Great service. Did what they could to accommodate my needs. It’s obvious the staff takes pride in their work.

Bad experience. Rental was booked through my insurance I received a confirmation text from my insurance company with pick up date and reservation number for enterprise on South Queen St York PA. I was told by employee that my reservation was canceled and they called me. I never received a call nor voicemail from enterprise or my insurance stating it was canceled. I immediately called my insurance company to confirm this, they stated that what I was told by enterprise was untrue and I did have a reservation for today 6/14 and they notes on file confirmation this. Thanks for screwing me over enterprise. If you want a serious car rental company don’t come here.

Great employees always willing to find a way to get me the best deals. Always in and out quickly.

I have rented through various Enterprise locations in different states, and the Queen St location in York, PA ranks as the best for vehicles and customer service in my years of experience.

The car was clean and well cared for, but the customer service was a little suspect.one was an Eagles fan and the other likes the Cowboys)

On a serious note, I've never had a bad experience with Enterprise. Thank you!

They gave me a great car covered by insurance as well as the price was right staff was very nice face was very clean

I've rented from South York Enterprise twice in the last two months. The staff are friendly, the cars are clean and in good order, and they get you in and out of there quickly. They also have a variety of different vehicles available to choose from for the various sizes you may reserve.
