Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Philadelphia PA

I have utilized this location numerous times for car rentals, and they have consistently provided excellent service. Timely, courteous, and always provides a quality vehicle. Compliments to the staff of the Chestnut Street Center City location.

I'm very unhappy with Enterprise car rental location. I've been a member with them for a long time now. I made a 4 day reservation for a Ford Escape, went to pick it up at 7th & Chestnut St location for them to tell me 1.) They don't have my reservation ready because the person with the SUV didn't come back yet. But, we have a minivan (Grand Caravan-White) you can use. I don't like white color, it's dirty too fast & you can't get stains out (clothing). 2.) You can come back to pick up your original choice (Ford Escape) tomorrow. I gave the lady my license & debit card ready to pay for my reservation and the lady hits me with I need proof of address (utility bill or pay stub). I told her I'm staying with somebody. She completely ignored. Gave me no other options and didn't feel bad at all. Remember I said I've been a member for years now AND I'm a
Enterprise Car share Member. ALL my information is in the system already. Why? Why did she need docs if I verified I'm ME. They didn't want me to rent a vehicle from them. If I say some stuff using BAD words and acted out then I would've been wrong? WTFudge? I need a real car rental place or Enterprise car share program opens soon with healthy and safe conditions during this Covid-19 mess. Enterprise is a good company but they need to stop their ISH.

Extremely upset, Made a reservación for a suv yesterday for 12 o clock and got their around 12: 40 and heard the news that their was no vehicles for me! So the enterprise employe told me to wait for a hour or so until something showed up so that’s what I did, So when I got their a female employe got super rude for no reason just because I told her that I wasn’t interested in a sedan. When I gave her my wife’s debit card she started getting a attitude saying that she wouldn’t accept the card because it wasn’t under my name. So I told her that the right thing was telling me that over the phone that the card had to be under my name besucase she Only stated that it a to be a “major credit card” or “debit card”.

Great staff who go out of their way to take care of you. Just try to reserve early to ensure you get the car you want/need as the selection is not as big as other locations.

Had a bad experience at another Enterprise and they went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of the one on 7th and Chestnut St. Thanks Guys

Friendly, personal service. Superior to other car rental services where the people behind the desk just feel like zombies. Rental agents went out of their way to be helpful, helped anticipate any dilemmas that might arise. Also, I appreciate that they made themselves personally available if any need were to arise. They didn't jsut direct me to some corporate central number.

My gf set it up and we’ve used them before with no problems, but this time they wouldn’t let me use my credit card to rent the car. We were trying to use her free day and they wouldn’t allow us so I had to get the rental on my own and they charged me more than what we wanted to pay. She found a deal for $75 a day plus had a free rental day. Just was really annoying how they wouldn’t let me just use my credit card bc it was under her name when we had no problems before

Everything was great except the extra $20.00 charge to return car outside of operating hours. They have a key drop box, so I don’t understand the extra fee.

I have been using Enterprise for the last 10 or so years. Various outlets in/around Philadelphia. The customer service has always been friendly, always helpful. No hassle when returning cars either. Never got the feeling that they try to blow small issues, into something that will cost extra. So if the car is not perfectly clean at the return time for example, I've never got charged extra for cleaning service. Staff is generally understanding.

CAR was ready, filled with gas (always a plus), and my business trip was uneventful! That says a lot about this Enterprise location.

Excellent location, smack down in the center city Philadelphia. Great price for rental for one week. Do wish that when renting the car, that I was told to drive car into garage. Please mention the return process to your customers!

When I attempted to return my car the garage was completely blocked by construction. I had to pay for my own parking as customer service proved entirely unhelpful.

LOVE ENTERPRISE. USUALLY USE THE BALA LOCATION ON CITY AVE BUT WENT WITH DOWNTOWN AREA LOCATION. WOULD 5 STAR IF I COULD OF GOT A RIDE HOME.

Quentin Davis has excellent customer service skills! A very professional individual that easy to communicate with. The insurance was expensive, though very comprehensive. The website should be more transparent about possible important fees such as insurance costs.

The staff was very helpful no wait time everything was ready when i got there very very convenient great staff I'll see you guys next year

The only disadvantage is the fee for after hours return.

Folks at this location (Chestnut St) are super helpful, no hassle people. Exactly what I want when I need to do something fast; like rent a car, last minute. Shannon was super helpful, had everything read to go. I barely had to do anything but sign my name. Must run in the name (my name is Shannon too). They were also super nice when I returned the car a bit past my return time, which was really helpful. Next time, I'm taking the BMW ;)
