Epic Double Decker Pizza Media

My wife and I recently dined at the Epic/Double Decker restaurant, and I have to say that my experience left me feeling quite disappointed. The restaurant offers a unique approach to ordering, with a stand-up kiosk at the entrance where you place your orders. However, the extensive menu options made the ordering process quite time-consuming.

Despite the somewhat overwhelming menu, the staff was very friendly and eager to help, which was a positive aspect of my visit. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly waned when I encountered a technical issue. The kiosk failed to connect to the credit card server, and as a result, I had to reorder everything at the counter. However, to her credit, the counter person, sensing my frustration, photographed the kiosk screen and input the order for me.

My main dish, the inside-out pizza, was a letdown. It arrived barely cooked, with the onions still raw, the pepperoni uncooked, and the cheese not properly melted. It felt like a major oversight in the kitchen. To make matters worse, the prepackaged tableware provided was so tiny and flimsy that it was practically useless. I went back and asked for replacement utensils and they had better quality plastic forks and knives behind the counter. The food was served in paper lined plastic baskets, which is not much fun to eat from.

However, there was a silver lining to my meal—the Buffalo tenders were quite good. The flavorful sauce and well-cooked chicken tenders provided a satisfying contrast to the rest of my experience.

On the downside, the cleanliness of the tables left much to be desired, as they were not very clean. It was disappointing to see this lack of attention to detail.

In summary, my visit to Epic/Double Decker had its highlights, such as the friendly staff and the tasty Buffalo tenders. However, the technical issues with the kiosk, the undercooked pizza, and the inadequate tableware, not to mention the cleanliness of the tables, left me with an overall sense of disappointment. I hope the restaurant can improve these aspects to offer a more satisfying dining experience in the future.

Since they became epic pizza, the quality has considerably dropped, and the portions have gotten smaller as well. They used to have an amazing cheesesteak, but now it's below average. We will not be ordering from them again.

I now have an inside out obsession thanks to this place. Spiro and the crew there are always nice whenever I come in.

I like Double Decker, but the last time I went there, it was not a great experience. My friend and I ordered ahead of time, but when I arrived to pick up the food, it was not even prepared yet. I had to wait 20 mins for them to cook the food. We received a wrap and a cheese steak. The cheese steak was good, but the wrap was underwhelming. The size of the wrap was disappointing and not worth the money.

I wanted to love this place as much as my boys but the food was just ok and cost the 3 of us $60. I got a rustic roast beef sandwich and the boys got inside out pizzas (their favorite) and a UFO area 215 burger. We also got epic fries. My roast beef seemed like heated up deli meat. The fries were way to loaded with toppings and I could barely get to the fries, with the flimsy plastic ware. I am not a fan of the agave straw alternative either. I think if they tweek a few things, they could be great but for now, I would probably pass. To be fair, I have never tried the actual pizza.

Ordered food today and it was soo good. Highly recommend the fries. Andy thank you for being so pleasant. I loved the cookie as well

Never fails to impress me. All the people that work there are amazing. The food is really good.

This place was so good and delicious the food is a def 10/10 especially the crapes they are so delicious and the fruit feels so fresh and also Arianna was an amazing help and also Angelina was really nice too! I love this place so much!

Man this place is the best it has so many options it’s like a buffet a good one at that I would 100% recommended this place and arianna and Angelina were the best!

Aggela was a magnificent server she was very attentive and personable to me and my friend when we were deciding what we wanted to have something we enjoyed and we did. She was amazing and we are definitely coming back because of her.

Very good pizza! We sat upstairs, no one else was there, it was great.

I had ordered two salads for takeout about a month ago delivered to my house. Both salads tasted and smelled like chemicals/plastic. I called the store to complain but was told I couldn’t get my money back even if I drove there and was offered a credit on my account which I reluctantly accepted. Fast forward to tonight we ordered take out as a family a vegetable pizza which was fine and two wraps. The vegetables in my wrap again tasted like chemicals I can’t even eat it. I’m not going to bother calling the store and definitely won’t be ordering from here again I’ll go to tried and true Pinocchio’s down the street. The quality has definitely gone down.

This place has gone down in quality since Epic bought this from double decker. They've diluted the excellence into a commercialized nightmare. The food is getting less tasty and the menu is unbelievably confusing. And just now the website doesnt work. You can't read the menu, you can't order online. Double decker wasn't the greatest before, but now with Epic its worse.

Ordered a turkey hoagie for lunch and a drink. Went and sat down and waited. After @15-20 minutes I noticed the 3 women who came in and ordered AFTER me got their food, as I sat there. So I asked the guy at the counter, it's been 20 minutes, are they are gonna have it anytime soon. I get 30 minutes for lunch. He mumbled "it's only been 15 min" and I said wrap it up. Then when I got it it was delicious and killed it in like 5 minutes! Food good, service, needs work.

It was decent. It's technically not even called epic double decker but epic pizza and then in small written letters burger lol. A few different items then most places ufo burger was good.

Immaculate pizza. Pizza crust so good it salutes me back. The interior is has two floors so you don’t have to worry about seating, and the workers and delivery drivers are A1 steaksauce so wait time is not an issue. Easily some of the best pizza in Delco!

They have fries that are soggy and they have to make sure that they check before they cook their fries.
